I wish I read these reviews before my girlfriend and I decided to go through with neutering our male cat on the cat mobile. When I arrived to the location I was shocked to see how many clients were scheduled. They had at least 15 other people with cats waiting to be seen. I didn’t think anything at first. If anything I thought “wow they must be that good if so many are using the service”. Boy, was I wrong….very wrong. A few months after we had him neutered he started howling in pain. We took him to the vets were they said he had a urinary blockage (a potentially fatal condition and expensive to fix). They informed us that urinary blockages do sometimes happen with neutered pets and it may not be the vets fault. However, when I brought up the amount of clients they scheduled the vet even thought it was a little weird. The Mobil only has maybe 3 humans on it to do 15 cats in 2-3hours…rushed much? I believe they chose to take as many clients as they could to make the most money they could and rushed the procedure. Quantity over quality care. And reading these other reviews I’m even more convinced. It’s fortunate that there are places that offer low-cost vet services in mobile form. I'm not trying to knock all cat mobile services. But I would definitely stay far away from this one and the vet clinic it’s affiliated with.

I had a great experience and so did my cat!I did book the appointment, and it was canceled the day before, but they called me to rescheduled. I understand that they are a small organization, and I ended up saving a lot of money. I will be spaying and neutering my other kitties next year.Make sure you READ all the email they send you so you understand everything. This is a low cost option so you do need to buy your own cone/body suit for your cat.Upon dropping my cat off at 9am, they’re were cars already there so I parked behind them and followed the line. Picked up my cat at 1:30pm and she’s doing great! The email they send you post surgery is also informational. I did wish that was sent before the surgery though as this is my first cat and don’t know much.Thank you Catmobile!!!

The cat Mobil was a great experience!!!! The only problem was booking an appointment because they fill up very fast and you have to literally be right on top of the schedule of when to book so you can get a appointment. We did have a appointment but the night before it was canceled unexpectedly without warning! After that cancellation they scheduled us for the next month and we had to arrive at 8:30am couldn’t be late, and it was an hour away. We got there at 8:05 they came to our car and took the car carrier around 8:20 and told us to be back at 1:30pm we got back about 1:15 and they came out to us and brought us back out neutered cat! No problems and answered our questions.

Unfortunately, my cat and I had a bad experience with the cat mobile. They were recommended by a friend who has had many cats, and i trust her judgement so I went for it.One of the people was so unbelievably rude and callous with the cats that I regretted giving her my boy. They wrote his name on the carrier in permanent marker, I have another cat and the vet was very confused when first meeting my other cat and seeing the name on the carrier. They sent us home and he was already awake, no pain meds, no cone, just paperwork saying what they did. He was SO uncomfortable I ended up going through his vet for help making him feel more comfortable. There was no follow up, which didn't bother me until I had more appointments for him and everyone has always done follow up and check ins. He's my first cat so I didn't think anything was wrong until I noticed it seemed to be very common from everyone except them.He used to beg me to pick him up, after healing up he's much more hesitant about it. He tenses up when he has to jump, or be lifted up or down. My vets don't think he's in pain, but might remember how much it hurt and it makes him nervous to try.I'm seeing all these reviews where their cats passed away after going here and it breaks my heart, I never would have done this if I had read these first. I am so sorry for your losses. If you need affordable options, there are others! South Shore Animal Hospital in Hanover is a great option, and she genuinely cares. Don't take the chance here, I'm going to bring my second cat somewhere else and will have to live with the guilt that I did for him what I didn't do for my first.

They had a great price that included a lot, but everything wasn't done on my cat(and yes I checked the box). My cat came home to recover. After recovering I picked her up and noticed her nails were NOT done. They were curling in on the last ones. My cat was traumatized from this whole experience, so I didn't want to bring her back there again. It also feels like an assembly line to drop off and pick up cat. They don't mention anywhere that I read anything about the tattoo. So here I was rubbing my cat's ear, then noticed she wasn't liking it at all. The paper work AFTER surgery did mention it, but no where's before surgery. Also, the paper work said she was in heat. I don't think I would of went through with the surgery while she was in heat, but they don't tell you until you go home and read papers after the fact. I don't think I'd bring another cat there. It just seemed so impersonal.

If you love and care about your animal DO NOT bring them here. They are rude. They take no responsibility when their poor actions cost lives. We brought our cat here to be spayed only to have her become septic and die within weeks after. Everything about this place is horrible. Trust the negative reviews and save your animals life by bringing them somewhere else.

Like others here, I had a standing appointment for weeks, and several days beforehand gave the number a call to ask some last minute questions. Nobody answered, but the answering machine said that all appointments for the rest of the month were cancelled. I received no email, no call, no offer to reschedule. This appointment has already been paid for, and no effort has been made to get my money back to me. I have since called and emailed numerous times and have had no response.I am SO glad my cat will never be in these people's care. This is the most irresponsible I have ever seen a business be. I'm at a loss for words. Do not schedule an appointment with this company.

Trust the negative reviews. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional, no information of cancelation after I arrived at the location and there was no catmobile in site. Called multiple times with no response. To anyone trying to get a discount, I rather pay top dollar for services than to deal with this company. You're better off, don't waste you time.

Catmobile is the greatest low-cost option to spade and neuter your cats in Massachusetts. I've used this service at least 15 times. Both for my own cats, and friends and family. I highly recommend this service and will use them again if the need arises.
