Canterbury Market started as a small liquor store in the 1980s, operated by Tom Tsakalos in Canterbury Plaza. Over the next 30 years, under the ownership of Richard and Priscilla Hurley, it evolved into Canterbury Liquors & Pantry, focusing more on a wide variety of wines, liquors, and beers. In 2016, the Hurley family sold the business to Cape Cod Markets, who transformed it into a modern convenience store with an exceptional selection of fine wines, liquors, and beers. Customers praise the store's cleanliness, fair prices, and friendly staff, who are knowledgeable about products like barrel-pick bourbons. Canterbury Market has become a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike, offering a pleasant shopping experience with gourmet meats, snacks, and upscale groceries.

Canterbury Market is newly renovated with a massive amount of coolers. They have a large selection of products at good prices. The owners also support local business and there is always tasting demos going on!

I didn't realize that it is really a package store... with some extras. The sign out front is a little like clickbait. Having said that, it is a nice place, clean and well stocked. Got some Bourbon and Beer, what more do you need.
