I had no idea there was a canal in Massachusetts. The lady in the visitor center did a phenomenal job of explaining the history of the canal. Well worth the stop.

Excellent place to learn about the canal. Kids would like it too. The staff are amazing and friendly with lots to offer. It is free.

A lot of history to read about and some interesting displays. There is even a boat you can board and look around. Definitely worth a stop!

When for the store it was two and a half hours it was so nice the only thing that they said you couldn't take any outside drinks and I saw a lot of people with their drink cups I wish I would have took mine it was a beautiful scenery I would definitely do it again and then Christmas Day have the polar Express trains and wine trains

Hidden little gem. You'd think it would be some boring little roadside stop but they have an actual boat you can get into inside! They've got three different kinds if scavenger hunts for kids and they can win prizes. Lots of interactive things for kids. A nice little stop to stretch your feet and entertain your kids for free.

Great place to visit the center to use the restroom and to enjoy the walk on the waterfront with free parking and access to the beach. Night time a lot of bugs and flies please spray before go.
