Amazing wedding this past weekend at Holly Ridge. Kitty put the perfect event together even having to juggle and move inside. Food and service were top notch! I can’t thank Jenn, Joe, and Kittty enough for making my special day so spectacular.

Not enough Carts!!!!!! Belongings taken by Tee master. On 7/3 Monday 2023 thé TEE master at the beginning of the was pushy and borderline rude. Mostly those people are that way to keep things moving I get that.Myself and my wife loved the course with our friends and had a great time. The greens are nice and maintained well.At the end of the experience things changed. The Tee master was even more pushy and clearly upset. He told my wife that he needed the cart immediately and proceeded to follow her to our vehicle and took the liberty to unload our items. During this process, my wife felt very rushed by the Tee Master. With a quick transition some belongings of ours did not make it to our vehicle and when my wife turned her back the cart was gone.Don’t let these people rush you or your process cause they don’t have enough infrastructure. It’s not fair because they don’t have enough carts. Pushing paying customers out the door is classless and very rude. I’d expect more from a business that’s been around for so long. As for our lost property, it hasn’t been recovered….. we aren’t holding our breath.Charles

Trinity was a very kind and helpful employee. She insisted I call her “T-Money” but I didn’t protest. The sandwiches are fantastic and I’m proud to have voted for some of them in the “Best Sandwich in Sandwich” contest.

Fun Par 3 in very good condition with challenging holes. Shared sandwich before round and dinner after. The sandwich was their version of a BLT and came with delicious homemade chips. Had we stopped there review of restaurant would have been a 5 but dinner turned out to be a huge disappointment. We started with and shared a stuffed quahog which was extremely dry and not great. We then shared a fried fisherman’s platter. This was a fairly small portion and came with 4 small scallops, 4 smallish shrimp and a small piece of fish. The fish was cooked fine but the scallops were over cooked and very rubbery and the shrimp were also overcooked but not to the extent of the scallops. All and all a mixed bag…good golf, very good sandwich and terrible dinner. Would return but for only golf and sandwich.

Called the course for tee time for two. Upon arrival we payed $106 for two players. Highest green fees around for par 3 course. After the third hole we realized that all the greens had been aerated and putting was impossible with holes and debris and the greens were not even rolled after aerating. The ball could not roll one foot in a straight line. Unable to play we decided to go back to the clubhouse to see about a refund . Spoke to owner who we suggested that they should notify people when they call that the greens are aerated and unplayable. He stated "Unfortunately, in this business thats the nature of the beast." After explaining to him that putting for ANY accuracy was impossible, he stated he would refund half the fees which, of course, he did not. Very disappointing and arrogant staff as this was our first time playing this course. Many courses near Holly Ridge that are lower price and better groundskeeping. Never to return here.

Not advised when calling the club or upon arrival that the course was aerated. My partner and I did not realize it until we got to the first tee. Having played aerated greens over the past 45 years we decided to continue until we got to the third tee experiencing that they had not been rolled and had allot of after punch on them making it impossible to putt. We went back to clubhouse talked to the owner who led us to believe he would refund half the charge. I found out when I got home, he only credited $26 out of $106. When I called him, he claimed cart fees and proration for 18 holes and said that is the best he would do. As nice as this course could be, I will never play it again and will let the tens of thousands of contacts I have through social media and golf communities what a bad experience I had at this golf course.

Called and made reservation for two. Got to the course and paid $106 including cart (this is a par 3 course). teed off to find that the greens had been plugged not aerated therefore not rolled. This was not told to us when we called to make the reservation or before we paid upon arrival. It was impossible to putt the greens. We continued in frustration realizing it would be a miserable round of golf, so we went back to the clubhouse and talked to the Owner Joe O'Connor. He said he understood and asked what I wanted, and he would oblige. I said credit back half the payment. He said OK. When I checked my Visa, he only credited me $26 claiming cart fees and prorated 18 holes. Professional courtesy is short here. Let the players know your course has been plugged. Maybe then offer a discount if they choose to play but don't treat them like I was treated and it's too bad because it looks like a nice course. There are many courses on the Cape to play that want to maintain a good reputation, not here.
