Disappointing.I have had a mortgage through them since 2017. They were great to work with then, but when I contacted them recently to speak about a refinance, they routed me to John Wells.It took him 10 days to connect with me only to tell me that their current rate of 3.3 is only a bit lower than my current mortgage rate. He explained that it is because they are so busy that they are trying to discourage more people from refinancing; they want to keep their customer level low in order to focus on good customer service. Then he said I should be talking to my original loan officer about it (though I was given his name to contact by the bank).The whole experience wasted my time and made me feel unwanted. It's ironic that they've increased their rates to provide better customer service. How about you just focus on retaining the customers you have? Wouldn't that be an idea??I will be transferring my loan elsewhere and will never come back here for any of my banking needs.

The five stars is for Dan Pulit. 3 years ago Dan helped us through a grueling time sensitive purchase and sale. Back then he was professional, precise and always available. Things havent changed. Within the last 2 months I reached out to him about refinancing my mortgage. He stood by us the whole way and led us through the process. We just closed this past Wednesday and it was extremely quick and painless. I would definitely recommend doing business with cape cod five and especially Dan Pulit.

I used Cape Cod Five for our first home purchase. Jonathan Wells, our loan officer, was the best. He was super attentive, answering emails at all off hours. Additionally, Cape Cod Five was on top of their processes. We were closed way quicker than thought possible due to Cape Cod Five. Thanks Jon!
