Just got my 4runner lifted with Jason and John and big thanks to them. Probably the most honest people I have ever met. Jason sat down and went over many different options and gave me his honest opinions on all of them. I decided to go with a Rough Country Kit wifh M1s and I gotta say...it drives as smooth or even smoother than stock. Plus I added 33s on 17s and I dont think ill ever regret it. I was tired of the hoopty look with the rake so why not just lift it instead of leveling the front to the back and add bigger tires? So thats what I did. If you're looking for ANY type of work on your vehicle(s) I recommend this place. Knowledgeable, hard working people and honest which is hard to come by these days if I must add. They'll be getting my business from now on on any type of mechanic work I need! And if you're reading this Jason and John, thank you so much! I absolutely love it! Might even have to add a new exhaust sometime...

I really wish I did more research when having having a new lift kit installed on my brand new truck. As soon as I left there was a rattling sound every time I hit a bump, I called them and they said it was my tow hitch. I knew it wasn't my tow hitch because it didn't rattle before the lift. I looked under to see if I could see anything and one of my rear shocks was having on by a thread. The top bolt had no nut and the bottom bolt was hanging on by 2 threads. They also sent my truck to another company to adjust the lift and align it, they butchered my coilovers and aligned it incorrectly. I had them redo the alignment and now I'm getting a creaking sound from the front nearly every bump I hit. This all cost me $1150 and I still need to have it repaired. John,Jason, and Justin are top notch here at Chaotic Custom Truck and Performance. I brought my first pick up here about 3 years ago for an injector replacement. After speaking with them and getting my truck fixed i knew instantly this was my new go to shop. Fast forward 3 years and 2 new trucks later, I still come here every time i have an issue and stop by for a quick conversation. (Even go out of their way to answer a text after business hours, and accommodating me in their already busy schedule.) They always have an answer to my questions. From suspension lifts, to auto repairs, ESPECIALLY DIESEL, and performance cars they know it all!! One of the best and ONLY diesel shops in the area. Thank you guys for always taking care of what we need!

If your car has any serious, don't tell them beforehand. I was told I had to buy my own engine before any mechanics would even look at my car here. They are all over the place too. John, the owner, says he will check it out to confirm I need an engine one day but the next he's yelling and swearing at me on the phone. He said the job took 21hrs at $120/hr of labor and "too expect a few extra hundred bucks by the end of it" so it's kind of decision I want someone to care about. Took it Sergio's in Malden and got quoted for the same job for 17hrs and they have good vendors. Chaotic just wants your money, be careful.

John, Jason, and the staff are great to work with and understanding. I shopped around New England for a shop that I felt comfortable to entrust my new 56K vehicle with. If you are looking for a truly knowledgeable team on vehicle modifications give these guys a call. They will take the time to walk you through the process and answer all of your questions, which was a priority to me. I highly recommend giving Chaotic Customs a chance to earn your business.

Time after tIme these guys leave me with utmost confidence and assurance that my trucks will hit the pavement with the issue/repair solved the first go around. These guys did a custom exhaust years ago for my Acura SLX (Isuzu trooper). The factory system was complicated restrictive and poorly engineered (see attached image). The work they did made the truck run and sound great, and the simplified design was pretty to look at. Excellent welds. Thing held up longer than the truck ever could. They charged me less than $400 out the door. The OEM replacement part at the time was around $600. Not surprisingly, they’re still in business.

Great shop with honest, hard working, and knowledgable staff. I've been taking my EVO, and Galant VR4 for modifications and maintenance here for years and have never left disappointed. Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Jason helped me find the right lift kit for my 4Runner and explained how it would fix the problem I had with my tires. They ordered the lift and got me scheduled quickly once it arrived. They had my truck for exactly as long as they said they would. And most importantly, when I got it back, it was looking and working great. Overall, a 10/10 experience.
