Recently visited the Easter bank in Saugus route 1. I wanted to open a new personal banking account separate from the joint account I had with my husband. There were a few things that I needed help with since also being married and needing to do a name change. Also being locked out of my mobile banking. Service associate Vivian Lam was who helped me and I cannot express how unimpressed I was. I felt I was a burden on her the entire time her “help” was received. She rolled her eyes at me repeatedly. Her attitude and tone was not welcoming or pleasant to be around. I would not recommend this location as this is the second time I’ve had a terrible experience with the service from two different associates.

I’ve had my account here for almost 10 years and the reason I’ve stayed with this bank is that the people here always trying to find solutions to whatever your problems/banking needs are. Special shoutout to Anuschka (manager of the branch) who is amazing! She always goes above and beyond to really take care of her clients!

Eastern Bank is very professional , fast and have great hrs for people that work Monday-Friday. Went there for a wire transfer today, Sam in customer service helped me. Great worker…. kudos to Eastern Bank to have Sam represent your bank.

I've been banking here for 20 years. This branch is a hit or miss sometimes the associates go above and beyond like 5++++ star to help you, other times I wait 10+ minutes and get told to wait my turn when i'm the only one in the drive thru and then don't get what i've asked for. 50/50 pretty consistently but still go because the support staff is top tier

This is a terrible bank, always has a skipgote,Bill pay is a joke, take forever to get your bills pay, I got penalized with late fee and finance charge and lost a lot of my credit score because of this bank, they refused reimburse for the fees,I put in my payment to deliver in a certain date,Witch were not fulfilled, they posted on my account when my payment got there. Do not use there bill payment, it's really unreliable, there tech is running like pony express, this bank is still using beta and VHS, this bank is so outdated, when you try to get a resolution, all you will get is a runaround, phone number Witch leat you to another phone number, you get the idea. Don't bother with this bank, go to another bank. you will have a lest a better friendly people.

I learned that a longtime family friend was being embezzled and extorted. They were about to lose their home (mortgage via Eastern) and were not aware as the villian in this story was a family member in charge of their finances. Once I was the legal DPOA, the team at Eastern jumped into action to help me protect their assets as well as worked with me in order to save their home of over 60yrs. I was so blessed by the team members at Eastern who each became a hero to this couple in their 80s. Without these angels, this story would have had a catastrophically different ending. God Bless you, my Saugus team (and mortgage) angels. You know who you are. ❤️

Its not the managers fault she is great but its so hard to find help let alone good help - nobody wants to work hard when they know the our country is currently SUPPORTING milllions of people fron shelter, to food, to people who dont work get more benefits than a hard-working young person making minimum wage 40 hours a week, so why would that person want to go to work at a bank when they see their friends sitting home all day sleeping&?they can get everything they want for free or damn near free? Its a huge societal problem

They are great for domestic banking. Run away for anything else.Went on a Saturday to do an international wire transfer. Was told needed to come Monday through Friday before three. Went on Wednesday at 2:15 and started the process, which took over 45 minutes to do. At 3:07 was told that it was past 3:00. Okay that is ridiculous. I went there enough time to do this. It is not my fault that they hire incompetent people. Also it is only $250 euros not millions. This is not the only time mishaps happen international banking with them. That is why the next time I go in will be to close my accounts.

I called before noon and asked if they had 25, two dollar bills. They said yes, in the vault. I went in at 3:40, no two dollar bills. I told them I called earlier and no one checked the vault.
