He introduced himself and directed us to where the selections were based on our needs. I was impressed with his patience, knowledge, people skills, and customer service focused mindset. Which is a breath of fresh air compared to sales associates of competitors. My mother is very picky and does not like to feel like she is being pressured to buy something. She was very pleased to not feel that she was being sold to. Zen answered all her questions and made her feel heard and needs understood.

“It's a nice although small store filled with high quality useful items. A good place to shop for homewares for yourself or loved ones. Good source for woolens & utility brushes in particular.
Be aware they get very busy on peak shopping weekends, especially between Thanksgiving and Christmas - they make people queue outside to enter but even so the store gets very cramped. You need a bit of space to look around as it's not obvious where everything is located and some stuff is kind of hidden on the floor or tucked in a corner.
They have a good online shop but it takes a long time for them to process orders, a week normally and up to 2 weeks during holiday periods, and that's before the actual shipping. Don't bother waiting for a sale, they don't seem to do them.”

“We needed to rent mannequins in Boston for a Pop-Up Shop ......sounds easy, right? Our company is on the West Coast!! Lucky for me, I was able to find Nicolas at Joslin Displays, Inc. He was able to help me every step of the way! From Renting the right kind of mannequins and display racks and shelving to buying some great racks that we will be able to use over and over again! Nicolas arranged the delivery and the pick -up from the hotel where the event was being held.....NO GLITCHES!!! AMAZING!! JOB WELL DONE!!! Everything went smoothly....easy to work with....everything was just as described...can't say enough about how helpful Nicolas and Kathy were! Great Company to work with. “THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL SHOWROOM, IT IS RED THREAD DESIGN AND THEY ARE GREAT
When you search 'Steelcase Boston', you (like me) would think it is a typical retail branded showroom. This address/location is actually 'Red Thread' design studio who are a Steelcase authorized dealer, servicing mainly corporate clientele but take individual appointment walk-ins. They were very responsive to my email and Aga was incredibly helpful and friendly during my individual chair test.
Seems like a lot of bad reviews are because people are expecting a retail experience, but it is slightly different. Would recommend contacting the Red Thread team if interested in a chair test.”
