We have had nothing but the best experiences filling our prescriptions at CVS on Newman Avenue in Seekonk, MA. On my most recent visit, for example, the pharmacist took the time to get the lowest price for me on an expensive medication.

It took five days going on 6 to get a prescription renewed! CVS never bothered to call me or check on the renewal. I was told the prescription was ready only to show up to find only one was filled and the other was still waiting to be renewed. Doctors office said CVS never sent it over. Staff at CVS could have cared less!

I came here for a COVID rapid test, and after getting stuck in traffic I was running slightly late, but still not exceeding the 10 minute window that was specified would require a rescheduling if you exceeded it. When I arrived, I was turned away, even though it was not over ten minutes late, and there was not a single other person there for testing. This is frustrating, especially before a holiday weekend where it's extra difficult to schedule a test (due to everyone testing for travel requirements). No one else arrived for testing after me, as I sat in the parking lot trying to find another location to reschedule at for the next 20 minutes. Arrive early to testing here because there is absolutely no buffer.

I will start with usually the pharmacy here is helpful and polite, not today. I was in for the third time this week trying to straighten out a prescription problem. The girl working the register was less than helpful and was very condescending in her delivery of an unhelpful, text like, answer. As I was told to do, I called my doctor and found that the request for renewal was never received by his office. Getting older sucks, being treated like you are compromised makes it worse. Unfortunately CVS has a near monopoly on this market making a move to a new pharmacy difficult.

If you have a prescription to be filled at this CVS, and they get it right, you should run right out and play the lottery. My family finally had to switch to Walgreens - even tho it is further away. They never seem to have the script ready on time - even tho they tell you it is ready. Sometimes they think you picked up your script when you haven't - and they can get nasty about it if you say you haven't. You get automated messages to your phone threatening to put your script back on the shelf if you don't rush there to get it. At first we thought it was just us - but if you are ever waiting for a script there just eavesdrop on the problems other customers have. This particular CVS needs a personnel overhaul.

I will no longer be going to the location and it's right down the road from my house. Never had a problem with the pharmacy but the front cashiers are mean and never have a nice positive attitude. Every time I want to use a coupon or something like that I get the biggest attitude from them....and it's not like I'm a crazy coupon lady, just two coupons. They make little snide comments that just aren't necessary. I thought it was just one specific woman but now there's a couple of them. I get it, retail is no fun but I'm being extremely friendly and respectful, I expect the same in return. The younger cashiers are all super nice but I seem to always miss them and hit the miserable menopause shift!

Absolutely terrible service at this location from the front desk to the Pharmacy, all across the board. Not only have I received mediocre service at best but some of my family have been highly disrespected here. One incident, my Aunt was told to shut up when taking to a Pharmacist on the phone. Under no circumstance should a Pharmacist EVER talk to a customer that way. My mother also was given a lot of trouble by the cashiers any time she tries to use a coupon. Many times they flat out refuse her coupons for the dumbest reasons when other CVSs take them no problem. In fact other CVSs are puzzled when told they were rejected at this location. It's like they make up their own rules or get mad if a customer has a lot of coupons. Take my word, go to the Armistice Blvd location in Pawtucket. Never once had a problem there. If anything, they go out of their way to accommodate their customers! Complete opposite of this location. Corporate number to call if they give you bad service like my family received: 1-800-746-7287
