July 2024 by I live in a carton box
they would hire just anybody... Visited the store on Fall River Ave. on June.20, 2024. The store lacked merchandise, many shelves were empty. It was in dire need of a few truck deliveries. Other shelves were dirty, dusty, and disorganized. The cashier, Salome by name, struggled to count $0.75 in change. As a result of her incompetence, I received back only $0.60. I gave her $5.00, my merchandise was $4.25, and even though the receipt showed change of $0.75, she had a hard time counting quarters, dimes, and nickels. I decided not to embarrass her, so I didn't say anything. But this is a one-time pass. Next time I won't be that kind. Also, Salome just pushed my bought items toward me after ringing them, without placing them in a bag. Only after I received the change and asked her to (please) bag my items, she proceeded to do so. Salome was unable to say "Hi" and "thank you" as well. Someone like Salome who can't count pennies and has no elementary customer service skills should not be working with people.

I love the dollar tree, but the cashier BECKY Who is new, is the rudest woman i have ever had the displeasureof encountering. She is an older lady with white-ish salt n pepper hair and glasses. I waited awhile at the onlynumber that was lit, and she was no where to be seen. Finally a few minutes some woman comes out of the office, and its not "becky" Becky came from the back of the store, she rushed up to her register and annoyed thay I was even there. I asked her "how are you?" Thinking i could break the ice, she ignores me. It takes a couple times with my card to go through (nothing to do with her, i forget all the pins we have to have) and she is rude to me the whole time. I understand people with bad days, we all have them, but she just stares at me. Not andweing any kind small talk i ask or try to bring up. Finally the transaction goes through and i say "have a wonderful night!" Trying to be positive but she just stairs at me and rolls her eyes and walks away.
I am a cool person, work in similar place, and this is unacceptable. Period. As long as BECKY works here, I will seek my dillar tree business elsewhere. So rude, for legot no reason.

This is a great place for many things especially everything is $1.25 you can't beat that I love buying greeting cards there. Easter stuff is always good too as well as all holidays. You really can't go wrong. It is a nice clean store and easy to check out. The staff is always friendly.

I like the options in this shop but today when I went in there with my daughter, the cashier kept staring at my chest. It baffled me until I got home and looked in the mirror. I wear a Khomissa and a grisgris around my neck. Although the Khomissa is visible, I keep the grisgris under my shirt. It's a square leather bag, attached to a leather string. Perhaps because she saw the string, she refrained from asking me what's under my shirt, for fear of being embarrassed. I go there often but this particular time, the staring made me feel uneasy. I'm retired. I'm a military veteran and I've lived an honorable life. If I was going to steal and risk everything for which I've worked, it damn sure wouldn't be from a dollar tree.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but like many dollar trees it was messy with many items out of place and the merchandise presentation could use work.

Older looking Dollar Tree. I went to get some small toys for a charity drive and they have lots of fun little things that would make a toddler or small kid happy for hours.... The store itself was similar to other Dollar Tree stores in the area. There was not many staff working around the store, just saw the cashier, who was busy checking people out....it's amazing how most of these Dollar Trees only have ONE cashier, it does not matter how busy they get.....a few times I have seen other stores open a second cash register, but most of the time, you know you will have to wait in line to pay. The toy area had stuff nicely set up and everything was easy to find....

The staff are extremely rude. There is one lady that works there that stalks anyone who is picking out goodies in the candy and snack isle. She follows my husband and I around like we're stealing something. The other cashier with white hair and glasses is clearly a mental case. She always harasses me every single time she sees me. There all fruit baskets in that store. There miserable , rude and mean. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I will be contacting corporate because management there don't gaf neither. It's either that or next time she harasses me I'm just going to jump counter at her and teach her a lesson on disrespect.

Good for many things like hand and body soaps, dish and laundry detergents, batteries, floor cleaners, air freshners, tooth brushes and paste, mouthwash, bandaids, tea lights, gift wrap and bags, toys, even clothing, hats, gloves, tees, socks, etc. dvds, candy, snacks and frozen foods, milk, ice cream, among many, many other very I expensive items. Too many to list here. I find a lot of things here.
