I think we're starting a habit... Go to Sizhuan Gourmet - but first, spend about 20 minutes in Bread n Butter. Neither my husband and I are Ukranian but we love to poke around in an international grocery. The owner is very helpful knows a lot about her products, is happy to talk about them and help make selections. It's a small store, but the selection is great. I love the loose candy section and we got some dark rye bread that my husband looved (and he bought again tonight). We've gotten tasty wine there. And finally... It's not european.. but randomly!!! they have my FAVORITE BEER. And they advertise it in the window.. it might be the only non-european product in the store!! And it is quite literally MY. FAVORITE. BEER. So 5 well earned stars on your wonderful international convenience. And your wonderful taste in delicious things! I'm sure we'll end up in there at least once a month or more now that we've found you!

Your basic "no-nonsense" East European neighborhood store for people who do not count calories. Chocolates, fish, sausages, cold cuts, cakes(!!!), wines, liquors, souvenirs, etc. If you are looking for a small gift, need to bring something slightly different to a party, don't feel like cooking or just want to treat yourself - go there:)

Every time when I walk in "Bread and Butter" International store I have a feeling something will be wrong. First of all what surprised me the most goods has no stickers price and every time you have to ask about owner this store Masha. I have strong feeling she names the price on the fly and it looks like it depends on her mood.... Actually nobody knows what is real price is. For example recently I bought а loaf of bread and she named the price $5.99 but literally in a few days for the same bread she name the price $6.99...On my question " why' she said "because". Another things is that after you have done all purchases she gives you recipe where shown only final total price, but there is no the price separately every items that you were buying. So, you never know how she got "Total " price and will not be able to check. Beside she is very pushy and often rough with customers. So, I dont like this store and tryng to avoid as much as I can,

Great Ukranian Market with everything you need! Not sure what the negative reviews are about, Maria is a passionate business owner and a great conversationalist. Would highly recommend!

Pricy expired products. Extremely rude owner (salesperson). She always talks badly about her customers. Very slow service since she is talking a lot. Watch out!

I absolutely agree this lady is rude and pushy. She is constantly hyper and never slows down. When I was trying to take some cheese from the cooler she actually slapped may hand. Why she is still in business I don't know. She makes customers nervous. She doesn't deserve half a star.

The area is fortunate to have this well stocked store with truly diversified foods and wines. Those who have only shopped at the big box stores and have never ventured to this little nugget are missing so much. The array of food choices can be a little overwhelming at first but the owner is patient in explaining everything! A gem.

Exceptionally rude saleswoman! She yells at customers sometimes. She should not be working in customer service.I will not go to the store ever and don’t recommend our friends to go there. We deserve better service!

The salads and prepared foods are delicious, and they have a good selection and variety of food and drinks that I miss. Maria was so kind and let me taste their delicious salads prior to buying. I definitely will return when I'm back in the area.

I was recommended by a friend to visit this market for the purpose of finding a local venue which offers Nordic/Scandinavian and Eastern European product, and am so glad that I did. There is always a great selection of fresh delicatessens and ethnic foods available for purchase. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and always willing to try to procure special requested items that I might be looking for. I always enjoy visiting Bread'N'Butter as my number one go-to local specialty market, as the owner always goes above and beyond your everyday normal customer service by introducing new foods and beverages for me to try; most of which I always seem to purchase as a result because it's sooo good. If you're looking for a great little market which sells ethnic foods and beverages, I highly recommend visiting Bread'N'Butter in Sharon, MA for your next shopping experience.

If one wishes for sameness and ordinary then be advised, this isn't a stop for you. On the other hand if a ticket to Vilnus is out of the budget, or you don't have the time to spend a week traveling - with a little imagination and a stop to Bread N Butter you might just trick your taste buds for a meal or two. Managed by a fabulous woman who finds as much enjoyment in sharing her knowledge of the Russian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Latvian... etc. foods, as we did in learning about them. Bread N Butter is equally a 10/10 for an adventure, or a prep stop for an excellent cocktail party. Don't overlook the flavored vodka... a spicy (and Massachusetts made) final item for your basket!
