Been a member for almost 30 years and have been happy with Eastern Bank's service, and I am giving 2 stars for the tellers at the counter(if I could give 5 stars just for them I would) but the wire dept on the other hand is very disorganized. Not only were they unable to to complete an international wire transfer, I was told that I would receive a phone call and e-mail to confirm they were able to help. on a time-sensitive transfer. That didn't happen.
Instead, they wasted an hour of my time, and 3 different people really didn't know how to do it and I was told I had to come into the bank to sign documents the next day. I called the branch in Stratham, NH and they were able to do this wire for me seamlessly and without me being present in less than 10 minutes. Avoid this branch if you need to send international wires!

I have done business with Eastern bank for many years. I would like to thank you for wonderful staff and fast technology with them. branch manager is patient, understanding, good problem solvers, and resourceful in dealing with customers on a daily basis. I appreciate all the staff and look forward to many years banking with Eastern in Sharon.

Very incredibly slow paced customer service. Even when I was the only one in the bank with multiple tellers available. Waited almost 1 hour just to be told something they could’ve told me the first 15 minutes…

I have done business with Eastern for many years. Never a problem infact it's always been pleasurable and the customer service has been very good. My first interaction with the Sharon Branch was very disatisfying, the two tellers that were at the drive thru were very rude and not helpful at all. I would go 50 miles out of my way if I had to, to avoid that Branch.

Worst bank and customer service ever. I was talked to terribly and treated horribly. I waited in line until the teller finished ordering her sandwich. The teller also started on someone's else's banking in front of me instead of processing my information. Don't bank with them.

It's a place to go where your treated well and when you keep coming back it is a place where everyone knows your name. All the employees are courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I go for the banking services but stay because of the customer service.

In a time when banks have become so impersonal, the Eastern Bank Branch in Sharon is an exception to the rule. When you walk in, the tellers & staff know your name, and are extremely helpful as well as friendly. The bank manager, Mike Carey runs a great branch. I recently had an issue with some fraud in my business account. Mike took care of it, and the money was returned by the end of business that day. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. For those looking for more than the status quo in banking, I highly recommend Eastern Bank in Sharon.
