5 well deserved stars!!!Superior grooming services bar none. My little man found a second mommy in “Cat”. My usually shy and clingy silky terrier has never been happier to be dropped off in Cat’s arms. There’s a lot of peace of mind when your dog trusts someone instinctively! She’s such a treasure find, and I know I will kick myself later for sharing Cat’s name- so don’t y’all hog her schedule now lol. Also, the awesome lady who manages the office is one of the most friendly and patient person to work with. Love love Love It’s a Dog’s Life- it’s one of Sharon’s pride.

We thought our dog just didn't have a nice coat, but then we had her groomed at It's a Dog's Life and she has a beautiful coat. It needed a great groomer like Jodi to have her look this wonderful. We are so pleased!

DO NOT take your dogs here!!! I have brought both my dogs here for about a year, to a certain groomer, and she was great. This last visit I found out my groomer had left and someone new would be doing the cuts. My poodle looks ok, she only had one leg with a line shaved out of it, it will grow back. But my other poor dog was not so lucky. Aside from the random shave marks taken out of his back, he had a scratch in his ear, and they CUT the end of his tail off!!!!

We have been using Its a dogs life for almost twenty years. Our two dogs have always come back to clean and put together. The groomers make sure to cut and style as requested, and i feel safe leaving my dog here. Do not read any bad reviews because we have always had a good experience for the 20 years we have been coming for

I would recommend NEVER bringing your dog here. I had brought my bull dog a few times, and the last time I brought her she was VERY reluctant to go. She has always been fine but this time she didn't want to. After I picked her up later that day she was walking like something was wrong, barely moving. And this is a 75 lb bulldog and cannot be easily picked up. I brought her home, she took a sip of water, collapsed and proceeded to have a seizure and die. My dog, of 9 years, DIED. HOURS after being at this place. Keep in mind a few other people have seen the owner abuse the dogs. This is HORRENDOUS. MY DOG DIED HOURS AFTER BEING BROUGHT TO THIS GROOMER. could be coincidence, but. I know my dog. She was running and chasing deer that very morning. The odds of her dropping dead like that are EXTREMELY unlikely. If the owners even respond to my review saying they're sorry about the experience, please, resurrect my dog or better yet, help the world out and close down your business. I don't blame every employee at this establishment, but the owner should be aware that ANIMAL ABUSE is happening in their own business. This company deserves no business. I cannot wait to see what the owner or their rep decides to say in response to my review. Please save your dog and go somewhere else.

I tried to book an appointment with Petco and PetSmart. Neither had availability within the week. I googled local dog groomer and was brought to It's A Dog's Life. Staff were nice and price is reasonable. During the session, my pup was also brought out to do his business in per his groomer. The hair cut is so cute as you can tell by comparing the photos. Let's see if this relationship lasts.

I just felt compelled to let dog people know how fantastic, professional, and caring everyone at Its A Dog Life are to our Dogs. My dog Dutch is 15 yrs and with severe arthritis and he comes back from grooming a new dog. He has so much hair its a mighty feat to tame! Thank you from our hearts for your amazing work and caring to us. Signed, Dutch, Oreo, and Grizzly

I am extremely disappointed with my Golden-doodle’s grooming this past weekend. They completely shaved her without my permission. I have told them many times we like the “Teddy Bear” look and NEVER to shave her. We constantly try our best to brush our dog and if she is matted in spots I told them to just cut it out or shave that small area. They even lied to me saying they tried to call asking if they could shave her and I had No missed call. Mind you they never called to give an update in the whole 6 hours she was there to give an update.Completely unacceptable how they shaved her body extremely short. She doesn’t even look like the same dog, it’s so sad. Also, seems like they rushed her whole haircut leaving spots uneven and nearly bald. Which doesn’t make sense since she was there for over 6 hours….. not sure what takes so long. I’ve also always noticed when my dog returns home she is completely dehydrated as if she is not given her water there. Probably since they don’t bother taking the dogs out to go the bathroom! After being a customer for nearly a year, I will never be returning!

They told me I could come in without an appointment to get my cat's nails clipped. They said it's always good to call ahead just in case it's not a good time to come in. When I brought her in, I could see that a couple of dogs were getting groomed in the back. There were spare tables, so they took my cat immediately, and she was back in the carrier within a few minutes. She didn't seem traumatized in the least. Employees were very nice. Great customer service!

They are very caring and do the job very professionally. I was never disappointed. Even when my dog had many mats, they made him look very cute with the hair cut and got rid of all the mats.

Used to be nice, now a terrible place. My dog got all sorts of things from there, including kennel cough this fall. This time, my dog spent seven hours caged in this place, and they wouldn't give him back to me explaining they are "running behind." Why on earth would you allow so many pets you aren't able to handle in 3-4 hours? The person on the phone was incredibly rude to me, too. I expected better for a Sharon business. My dog will not be getting groomed there ever again.

WARNING- I recently had my golden retriever groomed at It’s A Dog’s Life in Sharon MA and had a terrible experience. At drop off, the groomer and I talked extensively about desired hair length and what services I wanted performed that day. At pick up, 6 hours later, he looked fine and was anxious to leave because he had been caged. Once we got home, he started to act disoriented and refused to go up and down the stairs of our house. After closer inspection I realized all his whiskers had been cut off. I called It’s A Dog’s Life first thing in the morning to complain and the groomer apologized and said she was running behind so she had another person finish him and offered to give me 10% off my next visit. I was so concerned about the disorientation, lack of movement, no eating or drinking I had to bring him to the vets to make sure nothing was seriously wrong. $300, and 2 antibiotics later, I called It’s A Dog’s Life back asking for my grooming refund because of my dog’s condition, and they refused to reimburse me and blamed me for the issues. Please head this warning and stay clear of It’s A Dog’s Life in Sharon, MA.
