These people suck at banking, and they suck at their jobs. This bank is so useless in every way. They don’t even know how to ship a debit card. Use a piggy bank instead it’s more reliable.

Michelle and Peggy in the call center are extremely rude. Very sarcastic with me when I called to handle an emergency. Placed me on hold mid call to "handle this other call real quick" Definitely added to the stress of an already stressful situation. Then tried to hang up when I asked for a supervisors help as she wasn't helping...need to find a friendlier more helpful bank.

I don’t know why I still use this bank. I like to have a debit card as a backup form of payment when traveling. They do not let you use your debit card outside of the US. no matter what. They say PIN only transactions will work - THEY DO NOT. They don’t let you use with Uber unless you trick them and link through PayPal….but you’ll still get fraud notifications from this even if you’ve noticed them of travel plans.I also use Rockland Trust and they are a much better bank with excellent customer service. It’s been a long time coming, but my plan is to stop using Sharon Credit Union as soon as I get back into the US. I’m sure SCU is fine if you want to continue using them in the the Sharon area and don’t need any decent customer service…

As SCU has grown in size, their customer service appears to have suffered greatly. Very difficult to get a person on the phone to field questions from account holders. The automated answering service leads to a callback request, not acceptable. They are mimicking tactics from the big banks, and no longer feel like a community bank or a smaller credit union.

Such a bad bank if you need literally any help with anything 0 communication. They don't answer calls emails voice-mails or messages on the app. They literally told me I needed to go into a branch to get a payoff sheet for my truck.... literally a piece of paper They can easily fax or email me They are making me drive over an hour to them to get...

They have been a headache since they bought out Crescent Credit Union. If it wasn't due to laziness my mortgage would be with another bank immediately.

They’ve put me into overdraft 6 times now even though each time I’ve asked them to turn off overdraft protection. I’d highly recommend going to another bank.

We ended up with SCU when they bought out Crescent credit union. Terrible bank. Half the time you wait on hold they eventually just hang up. I miss CCU.

This place is full of clowns. Professionalism and customer service is non-existent. Excessive and wholly inconsistent policies make it impossible to do banking with any convenience. The epitome of Kafkaesque. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I have had only good experiences with the Sharon Credit Union. During the pandemic, I was able to make an appointment to see my safe deposit box, and the manager fixed another issue while I was there.

I am stunned at how inefficient they are. I can call three associates, ask the same question and get 3 different answers. I had to escalate any issues that needed to be resolved. I opened this account with the expectation that I would apply for a mortgage. But seeing how difficult it has been, I WOULD NEVER USE THEM FOR A MORTGAGE! NEVER. I can see that being a nightmare.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Have a mortgage from them, they have never reached out for a refinance even though rates are way lower than when the original mortgage was done. Never offered to have payments suspended even during the pandemic when the deferral program was active. I was laid off and the only thing they care about is money. Only after reaching out because I was refinancing with another bank did they mention the deferral program!! THEY PREY ON THE WEAK AND DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Only helpful person is Barbara Mantalos
