I was so sad to see I couldn’t find any of my pictures from the bridge and falls, but it appears there are plenty of them online already! We enjoyed a wonderful late morning last summer; the foliage was beautiful and there were many people enjoying the scenery, the walk and the nice weather. Nice that the town decided to save this bridge. This is a nice little picturesque place to visit; I had gone years ago with special people, it does hold a special place in my heart.

My video does not do this place justice! The entire bridge is lined with amazing flowers!! The added bonus, on either side of the bridge are cute shops and great places to grab a bite to eat and/or drink! One heads up, you are not allowed to bring dogs on the bridge. Luckily we had several people with us so that one person could stand with our dog while the other walked the bridge!

April through October, you will find many seasonal plantings of beautiful flowers and flowering shrubs on a pedestrian-only bridge/walking path over the lovely Deerfield River. The walkway is repurposed from an old trolley bridge from around 1908. The bridge has graceful arches underneath, which can be seen from other vantage points. It is a picturesque spot and a great starting point to enjoy the towns of Shelburne Falls and Buckland. It is free, but it's always nice to make a donation to help the gardeners keep it going.

Idyllic walking bridge over a lovely river surrounded by hills and a quaint, but enchanting town that also includes views of waterfalls and glaciated potholes. What is not to like!

IMPORTANT UPDATE BELOW. This is a great take for any gardener or just to enjoy the work done by the volunteers that keep this up. Almost all of the plants are labeled, so if you see something you like, you'll know what to ask for at your local nursery. UPDATE. The bridge is going to go through a significant repair and upgrade beginning today, Nov. 1, 2023, and will keep the bridge close until April of 2025. While the Bridge of Flowers is an important part of the community, there is plenty to do here and lots of great shops and restaurants to visit.

Nice bridge and the town is okay. But not worth a special trip. See it on the way somewhere, perhaps when following the Mohawk Trail

I loved this little walk. There's a public parking lot and street parking. It's an easy walk and so worth the stop. We stopped in early October and I didn't think there would be many flowers but I was pleasantly surprised! There's also the Glacial Potholes across the road and a cute little town with shops, a bookstore cat, coffee shop & restaraunts .
