“Love the fresh, organic selection of fruits and vegetables... but the People who work there are so pleasant and helpful that even if the food wasn't superb, it would be worth shopping there. Some items are a little more expensive but some are better priced than other places. The convenience and freshness make it worthwhile along with the great atmosphere and wonderful People who are so helpful. Love this Co-op. Can't wait for the expansion after the move to the larger location. Definitely a place to ship at!”
“Some stuff is outrageously marked up, other items are a good deal. Just depends what you’re there for. Quite stoked about their extensive bulk selection, which is tucked away in back & they have almost anything you could want. The kombucha selection & fresh sprouts are also excellent & the people working there are A+. ❤️ It’s a good little corner market if you need a few specific things, and if you’re thoughtful about it, you can come away without getting really gouged - which, contrary to the one dude who said they’re more expensive than NYC co-ops, idk, they’re def not more expensive than Washington state co-ops, or ones I’ve been to in Maine & Vermont, but way more expensive than those in Oregon. Most things are more expensive outside of rural Oregon, however, because most civilized places pay above $8.50/hr - I don’t know what Maine’s excuse is. Maybe there’s more competition in NYC driving down the prices, but you’d think rent costs & higher wages would override that. Regardless, I go here when I’m in town. They have some things that no one else does at better prices & often quality. And I’m Scrooge McDuck. ?”
