Laundry near Shelburne Falls, MA

“I have been coming to this Laundromat off & on for over a year. The current owner cleans the place daily, makes sure the washers & dryers are operating correctly, and is available to contact by phone if there's a problem. This afternoon I called him, because someone took my laundry from the dryer. I had been sitting outside in my car with my dog, so had not been in the building to see it happen, but since it wasn't busy, I knew there had only been 2 guys who had left the building with laundry after I put in my load. When I called the owner, he reviewed the security tapes, recognized the brothers who had taken items from the machine # I had used, knew their names and where they lived. He drove to Shelburne Falls to their house, retrieved an armload of laundry, and brought it back to me at the Wash 'n Wire. Only half the items he brought back were mine, and I only got a single sock back instead of multiple pairs. So I followed the owner back to the house where he returned the clothing that wasn't mine. One brother searched again, and found one more sock and one more undershirt that belonged to me. Oh well, at least I got back my LL Bean flannel pajamas and most of my other clothes. I wished the confused brother and the owner Merry Christmas and headed back to Charlemont, where I am an Interim Pastor. It's such a funny story, I can't help but wonder if it can be turned into a sermon illustration? LOL The owner of Wash 'n Wire certainly goes far above and beyond to help out his customers!”

They'll make a change if you ask them to with a smile, and I noticed some notes Z had written in the Wash and Fold area about how to take care of things for specific customers that really reinforced that they're trying to do their best.I've been going to them for wash and fold for months now.
