“PO staff here is so friendly and always helpful. PO is small and never crowded. Only complaint is the limited hours- wish they stayed open the same as all the other POs! And the mail is not collected from the blue mailbox outside at 430 every day as stated on mailbox. Many times I have had packages sitting there for days waiting to be checked in!”

“Right on route 2 in downtown Charlemont. Limited hours, as is the norm with small town Massachusetts post offices. Staff is friendly but the United States Postal Service rates are getting out of control and there's absolutely no accountability. To ship anything more than a simple letter or post card costs an arm and a leg... nothing the Charlemont branch can do to change the shady practices of such a large entity.”

“My package seemed to be lost and the tracking number was missing. But the postmaster (postmistress?) kindly did some fancy detective work and located it at the destination’s post office after an attempted delivery failed and no notice was given for pick up. It was artwork for a gallery exhibition. Whew! Thank you!”
