“Standard post office with passport services. It’s in a beautiful building right next to the local library. Smaller selection of boxes and shipping supplies than I expected. I might recommend shopping beforehand instead of getting them there, unless you are shipping in flat rate boxes.”

“Right on route 2 in downtown Charlemont. Limited hours, as is the norm with small town Massachusetts post offices. Staff is friendly but the United States Postal Service rates are getting out of control and there's absolutely no accountability. To ship anything more than a simple letter or post card costs an arm and a leg... nothing the Charlemont branch can do to change the shady practices of such a large entity.”

But the postmaster (postmistress?) kindly did some fancy detective work and located it at the destination’s post office after an attempted delivery failed and no notice was given for pick up.
