The family that runs the store is very friendly and helpful if you are looking for a specific kind of beer or alcohol.”

“Not crazy busy on a Friday night. Baked pretzel is crispy on the outside and soft inside, paired perfectly with cheese dip and honey mustard dip. Sweet potato tots are more on the sweet side. Portion is quite generous.”

“I read that someone said they did not know their inventory thats a mistake. There is a difference from not carrying some wine you want and not knowing their inventory. This is a family owned and operated business and they will go out of there way to make their customers happy. Me for example i drink a certain whiskey they know i am a regular so they order it and keep it in stock for me. I dare you to find another store that will do that for a customer who only comes in once a week maybe once every two weeks. Keep up the great job and to all those who say you want to help family owned businesses here is one which i gladly give my businiess to.”

I like that they have a sale table in the back to purchase some much-needed wine when you want to restock. “Groton market is the best local wine, spirits and beer shop in the area. We love shopping here! They’ve got a terrific selection and everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. I’ve come in several times to buy ingredients for a new cocktail recipe and I’ve gotten great help on what to purchase. My dad loves shopping here too and always gets lots of great local craft beers!”
