I got my hair cut by JD last time and it was truly one of the best haircuts I’ve gotten in years. She took the time to explain her opinion on my tricky hair (I have several cowlicks) and it came out fantastic. She was friendly and helpful and gave me a great cut!!! Thanks JD!! I’ll be coming here for my haircuts from now on

Terrible experience here.
Checked in online. Went in, expected a wait, that’s fair. The salon manager was being very testy with a child sitting in a salon chair, really showing her lack of customer service from the start. We proceeded to wait 10 minutes while there were two staff that were decorating for the Fourth of July. Mind you that this is six days after the holiday. After waiting 10 minutes of not having even been addressed after check-in, I walked up to the desk and spoke to one of the staff that was hanging decorations. She informed me that she could not cut hair. Two staff in a SALON could not cut hair. The other salon stylist was in her mirror, popping pimples, checking her hair, adjusting her bangs as this happened. Then comes up and takes someone who checked in online before me. After they accepted someone else, I turned to my partner and was discussing the fact they were HANGING DECORATIONS INSTEAD OF HELPING CUSTOMERS. The salon manager overheard and rudely interrupted. I informed her I was not speaking to her. She proceeded to claim it was her salon. I told her my experience was terrible and walked out. Will never return to this Great Clips. There is a Super Cuts across the street that was MILES nicer to their customers.

Such a bad experience. I went for a haircut, and I have fairly long hair. The lady, Tina (as she told me her name), cut the hair so ridiculously short and badly that I am lost. And then she cunningly took tips too, apart from $23/$7. Total $30 she took. I showed her twice the length to be cut-only a few inches. It is uneven on both sides, and I look like a clown. If there were a negative rating button, I would have clicked. And I never ever faced this situation before.

2 different stylists completely butchered me and my son's hair no eveness I would have done a better job myself wearing a blindfold and they had the nerve to tell me that I was wrong and I told them to do it like that even though they had notes of my son and I being there several times I am so disappointed words can't explain

I’ve been a loyal customer at Great Clips, but my recent visit was unacceptable. There was hair all over the floor and even on the desk, and some of the clippers still had hair on them—clearly not sanitized properly. That’s a serious hygiene issue. I felt uncomfortable the entire time. At this point, I’m seriously considering switching to Supercuts right across the street. Great Clips needs to step up its cleanliness standards.

My haircut came out great. JD was very courteous, kind and had a great understanding as to how I desired my haircut to turn out. Also, she let me get my haircut early so cheers to her and I certainly recommend JD to anyone who comes here.

Never visit here. Careless staff. Not good at their craft. Uneven hair cut. Very disappointed. Never going back. Hairstylist name is Jack. I hate myself for calling him "hairstylist"

Had a fantastic experience here today and the previous time I visited with my son. He is autistic and while he will sit for haircuts, he is very squirmy and not the easiest person to give a haircut to. Every stylist we've had here has been absolutely incredible with my son. Not only are they understanding and patient, but they give him a genuinely good haircut and don't try to just rush through it because he's a child. Definitely check in on the app/ website before coming as they can get quite busy but they do their best to accommodate!

Decent cut for the price, $22 without tip. Seems slightly uneven but not enough to really notice until I was fiddling around at home. The hairstylist is nice, listened to me, gave some input and showed me what 3-4inches of hair being cut would look like. She also let me brush it and see how I felt about it before cleaning up. The place was clean, they had lollipops ? not bad. I wish it was a bit cheaper given how quickly they cut but given today's economy, that was pretty good.Edit: I washed my hair at home and came in with it wet already, it seems like that's a safer bet than expecting them to soak it with a spray bottle there.Also, I don't know how to explain this other than saying the scissors felt dull. Like it sounded like a thick chunk of hair was being clipped at the same time.

Never going back! Didn't even get my hair wet to cut it. My hair is uneven and doesn't even resemble how I showed her I wanted it cut! Supposed to have bangs and they didn't even get touched! So upset I'm ready to cry... AND despite my age, I was charged as a SENIOR! I look much younger than I am, but apparently she thinks I'm at least 10 years older??!

I figured I'd share my multiple positive experiences based on how things have gone over the last few times here, considering the other reviews being a bit rough. I deal with hair loss/balding on the top of my head and it's hard to get it to look good without going fully bald. 2/3 times the gentleman, Jack did an outstanding job and basically made me look like I had a normal very short buzzcut. The other woman was newer to the company and we looked at the notes and worked within those but she used a different technique that made the top a bit better. In my most recent visit with Jack, he combined his original technique with hers for the top and this is probably the best cut yet. Always treated with respect and I've never seen or heard anyone else being treated anything but polite while I was there. Yes, it's "Great Clips", but don't buy into the idea you need to spend $100 on a cut, they know what they are doing.

This is my regular spot for haircut.Johny did my hair cut today. He really took time and took care of every detail. I was really happy with the service. Definitely a 5 star
