Had a great experience here! Took my '90s Cannondale road bike in for a tuneup and somewhat major repair. They were able to fix the brakes, chain, pedals, and do a tuneup in the same day, at a very reasonable price. Staff was friendly and explained what issues the bike had, and gave suggestions on how to maintain it properly. Would highly recommend!

Great people, great support.I went in there to buy a flag for my wheelchair -- a little $15 item. But, I couldn't figure out how to attach it. No problem! The staff person (I'm so sorry that I forgot his name) spent 10-15 minutes with me puzzling out alternatives, pulling bits out of cabinets.Just this little bit of friendly enthusiasm and care won me over.

Best time I’ve ever had in a bike shop! Friendly weirdo who helped me was awesome! Changed my break pads, gave me advice on how to change my pads when I need to again (because I mentioned I was going to do the rear wheel myself.) I shopped around the shop’s great selection to get a new lock, saddle, and inner tube.Great vibes, will be returning!

Absolute lifesaver shop. The mechanics here are fast, courteous, and non-condescending (surprisingly, some bike mechanics in Cambridge still talk down to you if you're a woman). They've gotten jobs done within the hour, kept me posted of progress, and very reasonable prices. It was my second time but will definitely return again!

I wanted to leave my bike to get checked for a service and I really felt that they did not want to help me. They said they are going to be closed tomorrow and Monday, and I said that I do not mind even if it's in a week, but they just gave me a card and told me to call from Tuesday onwards. I really felt not welcomed at all. I expected to meet more helpful people based on the reviews but this was not the case.Update based on business response: By insisting you mean that I said I had no problem even if I had to wait more than one week to get it checked? Most probably we had two different conversations. I really hope you improve your customer service. Good luck!

Very nice and helpful.Update after several more visits - shoutout to the young man who works here for being the nicest bike shop employee I have ever met. Its nothing crazy but the attitude bar is not high in this industry lol. More bike mechanics like this PLEASE.

Really really nice people working at this place. I came in and the woman at the front of the store asked me if I have appointment made, I said that I don't have one and she said that unfortunately they can't look at my bike because they are really busy and they have appointments schedule until the end of the year. I understood that and I was ready to leave, but few seconds after the other woman who I am assuming is the owner, said how she can check my bike. I didn't know how to explain what is the problem with bicycle, since the English is not my first language and I just said that it makes a loud sound when I turn the pedal. She fixed it after a few minutes and did some other fixes too that I didn't ask for. The charge was really small. Highly recommending them!

Such a great local bike shop! They are fast + polite, and prices for labor and parts are very reasonable.I've dropped in when I got a flat tire and they fixed it while I waited. I also did my annual tune-up here and they did a great job (though you may have to book in advance). I'll keep coming here for sure.

The team at bicycle belle are wonderful. They care very deeply about the quality of their work as well as their service. In particular, if you're considering a cargo bike, there is no shop in the greater area that is better able to service you then bicycle belle.

I needed to have a flat tire fixed on my bike. I arrived 10 minutes before closing, but the mechanics were super friendly and helpful, and they fixed it on the spot instead of waiting overnight. I highly recommend!

They are the best! When another shop told me that my new hand-me-down petite women's bike was too small to put a rack on, I brought it over to Bicycle Belle. They immediately recognized the old frame's brand (famous for their women-specific designs) and were thrilled to work on it. They promptly confirmed that a rack could be mounted, which increases its utility for commuting home with some groceries. When I picked it up a couple days later after work, I didn't notice until right after Belle closed that a brake cable wasn't sitting right. I left a message after hours and Sawyer (I hope I spelled his name right!) called right back because he hadn't left yet. Since I was nearby I was able to bring it back in a few minutes and he fixed it---and explained why it had happened, how to fix it again, and what replacement part would make it happen less often in the future and make the brakes less twitchy. He also took off the old plastic foot cages that we both agreed were a safety hazard, which he explained didn't actually help me go any faster. Finally, he adjusted the seat so I get extra power out of each push. Now my daily commute feels so much better, and it's particularly nice to know that my local shop appreciates my little bike like I do. :)

They have always been ready to help with all my bike needs. But the most important thing is that they don’t try over selling and have in fact reassured me I didn’t need certain things fixed. Saving me money and keeping my business all in one. Definitely recommend!
