A large space with plenty of natural light and most importantly, outlets for plugging in your laptop. This is less of a cafe, and more of a coworking space that also happens to serve coffee. Suffice to say, the drinks aren't spectacular.I ordered a matcha latte that tasted like nothing, but then ordered a chai latte that was much better and more flavorful. There's a wide variety of seating, from tables and counters by the window, to high tops and large meeting tables. There are restrooms that require a code, that the employees can provide. It never felt too crowded, as there are so many spots. Overall, a good space to work and have a fun drink on the side.

I go here pretty often since it's close by. The staff here is always friendly and the coffee is usually pretty good! Sometimes the drinks are overly sweet, but it's hit or miss. I think I tried a pastry once and it wasn't anything special, but Mike's is right next door.I've also been charged different amounts even though I always order the same thing, which is strange. It's great that there's a half off discount if you pay with a capital one card, which makes this by far the cheapest place nearby for me to get a latte. It's right by the assembly T stop and there's a garage right behind it with free parking for a few hours. The only big issue I have when I come is that the barista will always sit at the payment terminal and wait for you to input a tip amount before starting your drink, which always feels really awkward to me.

Great spot if you want to work from a cafe. It’s bright and pretty good wifi. Their coffee is bad though. I prefer the neighbouring cafes for coffee. Employees are kind and sweet.

“Did you know - latte can be made only warm. You can never have a hot latte. The machine doesn’t allow it.” This is the explanation I got from the barista when I asked them why my latte was not hot. I surely expect better service.

I was thinking about getting a saving account but the online application asked for in-person confirmation which brought me to the Café. The ambassador, Hervens, was so welcoming and assisted me with the application. Finally got my first saving account with high APY in the US! Thanks a lot!Matcha latte sub almond milk tastes good

I love Capital One Cafes! I had a question about my credit card & Chris was so helpful in assisting me and informing me about different rewards available to me as a client. His service was awesome!

Hervens was exceptional. Because of his willingness to assist me, I decided to keep Banking with Capital One Bank. Thank you Hervens, your positive attitude is affectionate.

Switched to Verve coffee shop after being a Peet's. Has no whipped cream, very few syrups. Not for the sweet coffee lovers. An incredible disappointment. Verve really needs more syrups. Was told they focus on the flavor and to go to another coffee shop. Did get a vanilla latte anyway to give it a shot. A bit too sweet and small for a large. Honestly the focus on the flavor thing is the most frustrating thing I've ever heard. Focusing on the flavor does not mean you can't have a variety.

Deposited money in ATM. The ATM ate the money and spit my card out. I made a claim but it's very painful as now I have to borrow money from others while my money was eaten by the ATM! Been a capital one customer for few years and now considering closing all my accounts, cds and the credit card with them!

Lots of space and the cafe discount if you use a capital one card is a nice perk. However, service is consistently understaffed. The baristas are very nice and do their best, but it takes a long time to get your drink.

This place is awesome. Everyone is super friendly. Drinks and food are great. If you have a capital one card and use it with your purchase you can get a discount. This has become my weekly Thursday WFH spot.

So I had to come to Google to leave a formal review. Capital one cafe is one of the best things that’s ever happened to Somerville. I have lived here most of my life and i bank with capital one. I come on religiously and they know my name and my order. I love all of the Baristas Maritza and Gladys are always on point with my order. My job is a high stress one and sometimes I don’t even place my order correctly Maritza knows it so well she can double check with me. Gladys is always sunshine and rainbows there is never a day I see this woman and I am not so grateful for her personality. The other day I came in and Paul gave me a full walking tour. He bought my coffee I left with free gear like could you really ask for more in a bank or a host or a coffee shop. He showed me rooms I had never seen before he took his time he was kind and engaged. Not to mention it’s guilt free because Capital one customers save 50% when you use your capital one card. I don’t think I could ever switch banks I hope they open more locations.

Capital One Cafes seem to be everywhere in the Boston area and I'm all for it. They are technically bank branches (or sales offices) at the core, with friendly, outgoing Capital One staffers pointing folks to the café's resources but never engaging in a hard sell. Still, you can get money out of an ATM or ask them about your accounts. These cafes always feature a Peet's Coffee stand - where drinks are discounted if you pay with a Capital One card - and plenty of power-equipped seating. An excellent place from which to laptop-loiter or just catch up over a cuppa joe.

Great staff, friendly, very welcoming, and overall nothing but good things to say. I’m here pretty often, as it’s great place to work from home. Great for reading etc… not too loud which makes it perfect for wfh days.

I'm a fan of Capital One Cafes in general, and the one in Assembly is especially good. For CapOne cardholders, all drinks are half off, which is a great deal and reason enough to come through. This location is spacious and bright, with large windows and ample seating. They also host special events on occasion with giveaways like snacks. Drinks are prepared well and ready quickly. I recently got an iced matcha with brown sugar jelly, which was amazing! They regularly add new drinks to the rotation, so it's fun to come back and try something new or seasonal. There are also ATMs and customer service employees there for your banking needs. Convenient & caffeinated. What could be better?
