Drinks and appetizers were really good. However the night we went they were out of steak and nobody had told us that until we had already ordered our appetizers. So nobody got to get what they wanted. I totally get supply chain issues but I think that customers should be informed before being seated if a massive chunk of the menu is missing.

My burger was cooked perfectly and was tasty. My mom got the salmon dish and she loved it. My teen got the cheese pizza and liked the sprinkled cheese that was placed on top after it was cooked. The only thing to know is that there is no real kids menu and my toddler wasn't thrilled with the pizza but he did like the fries. The noise level was not an issue but we also went around 5:00pm.

We just celebrated a friend’s pre-wedding here at Earls and we were amazed by the hospitality and warm gesture by the manager, Nick and a great server, Yllara. They also decorated the table for us and to make our couple feel special. I really recommend this spot. Nice food, nice people, nice-er hospitality!

The brunch menu has a good variety of dishes that feel unique to Earls with small differences to the typical brunch staples. The good food was also accompanied with polite service and clean decor. Nothing to complain about here!

I came into Earls Assembly Row last week for a quick lunch with a friend and it was a lovely experience! Olivia was our server and welcomed me back with a starter bottle of Acqua Panna. My friend was enticed by the seafood tower, so we placed that with some drinks, and Olivia was quick to bring out our cocktails shortly after. We then moved into entrees, and since my friend has not been to Earls, Olivia made sure to provide detailed suggestions of dishes for her to try! We went with a clam chowder and a steak & sushi to share. Olivia never missed a beat with our table and was quick and attentive to make sure she catered to our needs! We topped off with a last round of drinks and the vanilla cheesecake for dessert. Per usual, my dining experience at Earls was lovely with friendly, timely service and delicious food!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but the crispy tofu tacos were outstanding and more filling than you would imagine. Server was very friendly. Restaurant was lively and loud.

My $23.00 glass of Sauv Blanc (I asked if they had made a mistake) cost more than my Southwest salad with chicken (at the bar) which was fine but nothing special. Salad came out with no dressing or pico de gallo on the side (requested), server with just ok service--no proactive offers of salt, pepper, or refilling my water. I had to ask and then wait. So service was just OK. Not busy at all. For these prices & service I would def. go elsewhere.

If I were to just focus on the food, I'd instantly give 5 stars, no doubt. If you don't want to read the long version of why I docked off 3 stars, I want to encourage you to double check your bill before you pay here! So here's what happened: My friends and I dined here for Easter brunch, and we were excited to try this Earls Kitchen + Bar in Assembly Row. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seating, and it was bustling with families, friends, couples, and the like. Since we had a reservation, we were instantly seated and were greeted by friendly staff. We had plenty of time to explore their extensive menu and also learned that they had a brunch menu. We saw a picture of the potato pave that came with the brunch menu, and we decided to opt for brunch to try them! Our server also sold us on the steak and eggs, describing how they aged their steak for 45 days. We HAD to order the steak and eggs and were pleased to see it was under $20. Our server also explained how we could choose from sirloin, filet, and rib eye. What a pleasant surprise! We were excited to try the food! So far so good, right? That's when our experience took a different turn from there on. When we got our food, we were impressed by what we received. Exceeded our expectations! But.. my friend who was the most excited about the pave potatoes (they are fascinating to look at btw) saw that she was the only one of us who got a different kind of potato. That caught us off guard. We spoke to a server who went to check with the kitchen, and came back to us saying that they ran out of the pave potatoes. No previous communication or any prior heads up. They apologized and brought my friend a small plate of the normal potatoes complimentary. Although they were not the pave, we were alright with the way they quickly handled the situation. After we enjoyed the food, which I'll repeat again, was very tasty, came the check and we were thrown a different kind of curve ball this time. All steak and eggs had been upcharged by at least $30. Once again, we were never informed about the upcharges due to the steaks when our server took our order and it was never listed this way in the menu. That's when it hit me... there was a clear problem here. Not a miscommunication but more of a lack of communication. The manager came over to tell us that there was a miscommunication and gave us a talk about the charges, and I had to reiterate how there was no communication at all. We did not see this on their menu, nor were we informed in advance. It's as if we were being gaslighted while dining there. The manager did adjust our bill to reflect what we had originally anticipated, but we left the restaurant feeling disappointed after a delicious meal. Kind of like having a bad taste linger afterwards. The moral of the story is to make sure to check your bill and don't be afraid to speak up about what is not right. I wouldn't be surprised if many others dining there were overcharged that day... or on other days too.
