I brought my car in to Mark about a year ago, he ended up keeping it for an unnecessarily long time (over three days) and didn’t even provide me with an estimate. When he finally did, over the phone, it was very high and he quoted me individually for each element of the job, even though many of them involved duplicate tasks. This is known as “book” pricing and a primary tool in how dealerships rip you off.If you bring your car to a dealer for, say three things, the book will allow them 30 minutes to disconnect your battery – for each job. It really takes five minutes but you will be charged an hour and a half of labor. I’m not saying his quote was this egregious, but it wasn’t far off and certainly didn’t meet the charging for actual labor policy that has always made independent shops like this more attractive.He was supposed to get back to me and let me know when parts were in, he never did. I ended up getting a second opinion on the car and was basically told not to bother fixing it, just drive it until it breaks. They also disagreed with some of Mark’s assumptions on what the issues were (they specialize in the make).A year later I’m on the cusp of getting a different car and wanted a minor issue looked at before I sold this one (which has been running great).Like getting takeout from the place around the corner that sucks, but you don’t feel like cooking, I made an appointment with Mark. I showed up and waited twenty minutes for someone to come out of the shop and help me. I rang the bell, called, set of the door sensor (it beeps to let them know someone came in), nothing. I can’t say I would recommend anyone get their car serviced here.

Every experience I've had at Four Wheels has been positive. He charges very fairly when comparing prices at other auto shops and is very trust worthy. Sometimes you do have to wait in the front but nothing extreme. I highly recommend four wheels to everyone because of how personable & professional Marc is.

I called over to get some advice and the people there were super honest and helpful. They fixed my problem and were reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.

I have always gotten excellent, kind, and respectful service at Four Wheels!! I brought my car in a few months back for quite a bit of service and (due to the amount of labor that went into the repair), Marc charged me a flat rate rather than hourly. He was very upfront and honest about the parts and work that were necessary, while also letting me know of additional work that he would recommend in the future. There was no pressure to get that work done immediately, which I sincerely appreciated.My most recent visit I needed a tire replaced, and since the tire had to be ordered, Marc said he would call me when it arrived so I could still use my car. There was unfortunately some miscommunication, but Marc called me (after close!) to come in so he could fix the tire before the weekend.

Went here for a loud squeaking noise on ignition and a rattling when accelerating. Marc took a look and told me I had an old frayed drive belt (squeaking) and my exhaust gaskets were worn down (rattling). He advised me what was necessary replacements and what I didn't need to fix if I didn't want to (since it's an old car and I didn't want to spend that much), which I appreciated.Finally he was super nice and gave me more advice on cars too look at since I was playing with the idea of buying a new car. To top it all of he gave my car a clean and a vacuum while making the repairs, totally unprompted! Will definitely be back in the future.

Super helpful! My headlight was out, called at noon to see if I could come in to get it replaced- came in at 2:30 was out by 3:15. Grateful ??I think Mark, the guy who helped me is his name? I'm not too sure, anyway, he's super cute ?

Marc is honest, reliable, and incredible at what he does. He communicated throughout the service and took the time to walk me through exactly what was wrong with my car after being extremely thorough with the diagnostics. He vastly undercharges for what he offers, which is a benefit for the customer! Very fair pricing. We wouldn’t take our car anywhere else.

Highly recommend Marc's business! He is honest, straightforward, and works extremely fast. He diagnosed that my engine fan was failing, replaced the part, and completed the repair extremely quickly. He's completely transparent about pricing and took the time to explain the fix to me and show me the old part that was no longer working. Great guy, and great business!
