For the kids work shop space too tightly ,we only can let the kid sit on the very dirty floor. Have to make more space for the kids, like Everett location. And prepare more apron, don’t let the kids disappoint again next time .

I waited 15 minutes for an employee to pick up a wire and no one showed up. If you want to protect your product with a padlock, that's fine, but as long as you have someone to open it whenever you need it

I am happy to be able to finally find parking at this location. In the past there were so many people coming in parking and then going to lunch or dinner or sometimes even parking to take the orange line into Boston. It was horrible. So Home Depot corrected the problem and posted that you will be towed. Again great job Home Depot and management at Somerville location. We, Pro contractors, are glad we can park more easily and load our trucks without over crowding in the lot like it was prior. If you complain about someone towing your car because you parked in a place that states "customer parking only" when you were not a customer, that is on you!!!. If you feel so entitled that you should be able to park anywhere you like regardless of the rules, then you are part of the problem.Do the rules not apply to you?If you park in Boston in a spot that says "No Parking" and you get towed are you mad at the city for enforcing the rules?Don't get mad at Home Depot for wanting to have ample parking for paying customers and towing the people that think its a free parking lot.KUDOS TO HOME DEPOT FOR ENFORCING POSTED SIGNAGETHANK YOU!!!! I FINALLY HAVE A PLACE TO PARK!

I have experienced a circus of negative experiences with Somerville MA Home Depot. There are problems with their check out hardware, sometimes their machine that processes checks does not work. There are only a few good people who work here. Delivery is the worst. I had a cabinet delivered and they sent one delivery person. He said I didn't sign up to have it brought into my house. (Not true). I sent it back as I'm in my 60's and could not bring it by myself up my stairs. I called the delivery service and he told me he assumed I would not need help bringing it in, as my husband could help. I don't have a husband and told the delivery guy that. He never even asked me! I had them deliver on another day with 2 people to bring the cabinet in. Terribly sexist. Now I shop at Lowes.

John at the Sommerville, MA location is great - I had to help my sick college-aged daughter with a project. She is the maker, not me. John was thoughtful, and professional, and helped me with a solution that worked well for my family. He is a trained electrician so he was able to give great advice. Another customer (sorry guys - a male) got irritated that he was helping me solve a problem. John was calm, prioritized my support, and tried to guide the customer to service. All to say, we people of a certain age are normally ignored. John understood what needed to get done and took the time to help direct me to the right products at HomeDepot for the job. Thank you!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. The absolute worst customer service. Called prior to ordering an appliance to find out if installation was included or if I needed a plumber involved they told me it was included and didn't need a plumber. Upon attempted delivery was told by driver there needed to be a plumber. Customer service was very unhelpful manager said there didn't need to be a plumber and wasted two hours of my time on the phone contacting the delivery service. Came back from hold to tell me there does need to be a plumber. Overall wasted 4 plus hours of my day with awful communication being transferred back and forth and no resolution. Ended up canceling my order as they weren't willing to help me figure out a more specific time to deliver to not take another day off for this or discount which another representative said they were able to do. So many miscommunications on their end multiple times that wasted hours of time and am very disappointed and still applianceless.

I think that the rating for this Home Depot is accurate. The wood we purchased wasn't even stored inside of the store. They actually stored the wood outside in the rain.

The manager of this store does not help at all. Yesterday I wanted to buy 200 sheets of sheetrock and he wanted to sell them to me at the regular price of $14.88 and on a normal day I bought it for $8.41. I did not like at all the way they treated me. I would like to present a Formal complaint

Great experience with this Home Depot! I had an ongoing issue with an appliance I had ordered from HD online, but the store manager, James, was extremely helpful and friendly with resolving this issue. Look forward to returning to this location.

As some people have mentioned already, aggressive towing is taking place at this location's parking lot. Seems like they are constantly watching and any sign of leaving will result in towing (the one they use is about 4 min away by car so they can be here very quickly). Was out and back within 15 min to grab something before going to the store and car was gone by then. Unfortunate since this location is close to where I am but needless to say I probably won't be coming back.

Service is fine except when they tow your car even though it's full of home Depot merch. Then they wash their hands of it and you have to fight with the tow company you somehow get to several miles away without a car.

Echoing what Hannah mentioned below, and probably a cautionary tale for anyone visiting this Home Depot. They seem to have recently changed to a new towing company that predatorily tows cars in the lot.My friend parked there (at 1030am on a sat morning) and walked outside the parking lot to meet me before returning to the home depot store. After visiting the store we realized the car was towed. That was only 45 min after he parked his car. When confronted by my friend, the tow guys simply said “we saw you walk outside the parking lot so we towed you”. No photos, no videos, no anything - just a he say, you say situation. Short on luck, but nevertheless very predatory, especially considering it was not stated clearly at all that customers could not leave the parking lot before returning to the store.

i have been, especially recently, a loyal customer to this home depot. they towed my car (mind you, i had been parked for only 55 minutes) and after trying to explain that it was an honest mistake/misunderstanding, i received no help from this store or from the overall company. i am so sad but i never plan to shop at a home depot again.

I had to come to this location because the location at SouthBay didn't want to help me. The original person who was supposed to help me get ceiling tiles didn't know what he was doing. The actual 2 guys that ended up helping me were awesome, and the cashier was supper friendly. I didn't mind driving out of my way to come to this location all because of the friendliness of the staff. Will never go back to the SoutBay location!!!
