My business has had multiple very disappointing customer experiences at this store, but my visit on 3/23/25 calls for attention from management.
The Somerville store is becoming one of our most problematic locations for making purchases, as many employees have demonstrated they are uninterested in assisting us as customers.
We are a commercial pro extra elite account holder and have visited nearly every location across New Hampshire and Massachusetts within the past year.

The best materials warehouse I've ever seen in my life. My father would go crazy inside this store. You can find everything, very well organized in any city, well standardized shelves and easy to return unused items. Among other advantages of shopping there.

if I could give 0 stars I would. A few days ago I went to this home depot, terrible service by the cashier, my husband doesn’t know english, the cashier was starting to make comments or starting to laugh about him with other worker while he tried to explain why he was waiting for me, when we gave our products to the cashier, he was throwing everything which made things fall, while my husband picked them up the worker laughed about him. In conclusion this place discriminates people.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I asked people that worked in flooring with a type of glue that would help me with my vinyl popping and he recommended glue that doesn’t cure. I specifically asked for someone that worked in flooring and one just one showed up but 2 people... It’s been over 4 days still hasn’t cured. So unprofessional didn’t even want to listen to me. Now my floor is ruined. I got gone goo nothing but ruining my floors. I had to get new flooring. Spent another 300$ to fix. When I shouldn’t have even listened to the horrible advice. And at the end of the day. I’m the one out of money. I’m the one that needs to fix the horrible advice I took when I except people in flooring to know what they are talking about. So thanks for nothing. Now I’m spending more money than I would have. One thing I know is I’ll never recommend anyone to go to homedepot again.

This is a Home Depot, and it does a good job of being a Home Depot. Also a close walk to the orange line, if anyone hasn’t looked at a map before thinking of going here.

Beware -- Home Depot will NOT fix their errors if your install has issues. We ordered a washer/dryer set to be installed and the install was done incorrectly. After multiple rounds with customer service (they schedule the fix, noone shows up, repeat) they tried to convince me that using a hose clamp or vent tape (which is how every single dryer in america is installed) is not covered under the install. What I learned is that the contractors Home Depot uses have the right to refuse to do any work they dont want to do-- if the installer decides they aren't showing up, their contract says they can cancel your work order without notifying you. I ended up paying out of pocket to have the install done correctly. Never again, Home Depot.

Just wanted to write a big 5 star review for the service of Kyle who on two occasions with tiles and blinds made me feel super supported as a customer. As a first time home buyer walking into Home Depot can be a big undertaking of what to purchase and of course for how much. I just felt that Kyle was able to both understand what I needed and meet my questions without suggesting things outside my price range/or possible style. He was professional, super courteous, extremely patient and he remembered me from my first visit. I hope that Kyle is able to read this and receive a big appreciation from the management team there. Thanks again Kyle. I really appreciate you.

I had an order to pick up at the last minute and the store was closed but Monica at the Customer Service desk was so nice to log back into her computer and find our online order. This made my night! Monica was so helpful and had a smile on her face. Give this lady props 👏 🙌 she went over and beyond what she needed to. Merry Christmas!

Connie in appliances is the best!
My wife and I closed on our first house and need all new kitchen appliances. We tried ordering our GE appliances all together on homedepot.com for the discount but the website is a NIGHTMARE.
We figured let's go to the Somerville location to try and find answers and guidance. Connie did it all for us. She was very thorough and precise with helping us order the appliances and tracking down the best date for them to be shipped.
Her advice on what type of oven to get, two door vs one door, was needed as well. The whole two door design is entirely impractical if you think about it. So we went one door!
Because of awesome people like Connie a very stressful and frustrating situation with Home Depot's website became a seamless experience. Always helps to get answers in person but it's an even bigger help to work with people like her.

I went to Home Depot last night at 9pm and I was by door near the plant nursery in the back and two huge rats the size of Guinean pigs ran by me and went under the shelf. Absolutely disgusting! I hope management gets this under control because they carry all sorts of diseases! I mentioned it to one employee walking by and he didn’t seem to care, other than to say, “Oh yeah one recently jumped on an employees arm.” A second employee did help me when I notified him. I called an let a manager know of my experience as well this morning.

Ordered delivery. My order arrived 100% broken, and they refused to do anything about it unless I bring the items to the store. Part of why I got delivery is it's annoying to get there.
