What a truly original and wonderful store! Eddie is great ... he helped me with the design and built a nightstand that resembles an old card catalog. I love the way it looks and it is well made. Highly recommend visiting, exploring and discovering!

Place always has some cool new stuff. Always worth stopping by and taking a quick gander. You can't really expect yard sale prices from a retail establishment but that's really just my problem so you have five stars you're going to find something new every time

Metamorphosis is a must-see in Somerville, MA. It is a unique, eclectic shop with vintage finds, handcrafted goods, records and custom work. Owner, Eddie is incredible to work with. His craftsmanship is fine-detailed and superb. Highly recommend!-custom bookcase photographed

This is a really cool place. Filled with a great selection of vinyl records as well as new + vintage furniture, art and oddities. The owner is great friendly guy. Absolutely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

A hidden jewel in Davis. Laid back atmosphere with great music spinning on the platter. Eclectic selection of furniture and vinyl records from The Beatles to Bowie. I picked up Aerosmith, Tina Turner and Beatles albums to name a few all in great shape. I highly recommend you stop in!

This is the best furniture spot in Davis Square. Everything in the store is unique. Good luck finding stuff they have anywhere else. Not to mention they make custom pieces to any specification: bed frames, dressers, coffee tables, cabinets, etc. They'll deliver it to you too. Metamorphosis has a laid back vibe, and they're always playing good music.

Great little furniture store with a great vibe. They made a great bed for me with pullout drawers underneath. It is perfect to the specifications I wanted. They also made me a table out of rustic wood that I truly adore. So glad to have a place that can make custom furniture around here.
