There's always a new circumstance in which find myself thinking, "I'm so glad this market opened around the corner from my house!" From having chicken and vegetables during the pandemic shortages to today, when I just need some eggs. Judging by the fact customers are always coming ad going, I am guessing my neighbors feel the same way.

Great local shop with good produce, dairy, and bulk dry goods (tea, grains, cereals, fruits, coffee, etc). Small shop that manages to carry a lot of variety! They have fresh bagels and breads, ice creams and local pasta too. Some cleaning supplies as well.Remember to bring your own bag if you can (though they have paper ones if you forget). Everyone is friendly. Love their dollar deals! Glad this is walking distance from me for when I need a few things for dinner or a refill of a bulk item.

Ive visted several times this year and I can conclude these need to exist in every neighborhood, especially those that may be in food deserts. Their produce is fresh and comparable (often cheaper) in prices to typical grocery stores. They have quite a selection of produce, bulk items to purchase (flour, spices, snacks, etc) and even dairy products. They dry goods are a bit more sparse, but that encourages healthier eating anyways!

We live closer to here than the Medford location but we go to both frequently. For such a small space they almost always have everything we need. The only time it’s annoying (which is rare) is when someone chatty comes in and kinda holds up the line. It’s not big to it’s nice when people just come in, grab the stuff and jet. Staff is super friendly and they are always helpful!

Neighborhood produce may be small but it has one of everything you might need. Great selection and great addition to Somerville

I should mention that I’ve only been to the location in Ball Square, but I still had to list the reasons I love this place:-Most of the items in the store don’t come in plastic! They have paper bags and reusable containers for bulk items, or you can bring your own and have them weighed-The staff is friendly and helpful-They have an assortment of items and I can find most of what I need there - also, some items that I can’t find other places, like unsweetened coconut! (Please, PLEASE keep stocking that, I live off this stuff now ?) OH and the teas. The looseleaf tea is wonderful. The Lapsang Souchong is my favorite-Not only do they have food, but they have bulk shampoo/conditioner/soap as well. I supplement the conditioner with a richer product every few rinses, but the stuff they stock is a good staple-The produce is *quality* - the highlights from this last year have been bright poppable cranberries, snappy green beans, crunchy apples, and (depending on season) leeks the size of my arm! Usually decent prices, too, though you should always double check-And they’ve been selling eggs at cost in all this madness. AT COST! Bless themIn short I try to give them my money over other stores whenever I can. 10/10 would recommend

Incredible value and a very nice atmosphere. I really enjoy coming here and the prices are even better than big box stores, which is impressive.

I wish I walked into this place sooner. I had assumed it would be ridiculously priced but I stand corrected. Really great value for the quality

Prices are way too high for product that isn't always fresh. I understand that they don't want to throw produce away, but lower prices then when an item is no longer fresh. Isn't that fair?
