I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Orange Theory in Somerville, and I can confidently say it's a 5-star fitness haven. Coach Emily is absolutely fabulous and incredibly competent. She turned what could have been an intimidating first class, especially for someone new to the rigors of exercise, into a breeze. Emily provided fantastic instructions and consistently checked on me throughout the entire session.The studio itself is top-notch, well-equipped with everything you need for a fulfilling workout. The energy in the room is incredibly engaging, complemented by an excellent selection of tunes. Each class presents a welcomed challenge, and I genuinely look forward to every session.What truly sets Orange Theory apart is the wonderful and encouraging community it fosters. The camaraderie among members is palpable, and the support from both fellow participants and the caring staff is unparalleled. Emily and the entire team have created an environment where every milestone, no matter how small, is celebrated. It's a fantastic place to not only achieve fitness goals but also to be part of a motivating and supportive fitness family.

I was visiting from out of town and had a great experience visiting OTF at Assembly Row on two separate occasions. In addition to the friendly and welcoming front desk and great coaches, I particularly love the layout of this studio, with a longer corridor that houses 3 (yes, 3) showers and the lockers all the way at the end of the corridor right next to the studio itself. It feels more secure than other OTF studios I've been to, and the workout stations are also well arranged without feeling cramped. One note - bring your own locks because their lockers don't have built-in ones.If I find myself visiting Boston again in the future, this will always be my studio of choice to get in my OTF workout!

Pros: They get two stars for nice staff.Cons:- 30-day money-back guarantee is bogus. Don't sign up lightly because they'll make you fight to get your money back. Also, there is no cancellation option on the website or the app - you need to ask for a cancellation form and then you'll still get charged for any payments scheduled in the next 30 days! Feels like this company is trying to sneak a few accidental payments out of you, but that is a different rant.- This location is BUSY - get ready to work out at times other than the ones that are convenient or planned- They fail to mention that you need to buy their branded heart-rate monitor to participate in the classes, and no your own device will not substitute.- My girlfriend got simultaneous strep throat AND covid-19 from one of the classes! When she was out of commission for almost a full month they wouldn't give her a refundSo if you want an intense workout class, sure, this place is fine. But get ready for an over-priced experience where you just feel like a faceless customer

Orange Theory's standout is its stellar shower facilities, a welcome retreat after their brutal workouts. The competitive edge with "splat points" adds excitement, but the structured workouts may eventually grow monotonous. In a nutshell, excellent showers, challenging workouts, but potential for workout fatigue over time.

I’m town visiting my daughter and I Arrived thinking I was going to a different studio but so glad I stayed and waited for the next class! The staff were so friendly and nice, plus free parking and this location didn’t have an up charge ?Overall great experience! LOVED THE CLASS

I’ve been doing OTF for about 3 months now and I can’t say enough good things about it. My home studio is in Waltham since my office is out there but I love coming to the Assembly one more. Coach Ryan and Coach Emily are easily the best coaches I’ve ever had. They make each workout fun and really want you to do your best. If you haven’t tried your first class, get on it! You don’t be disappointed.

Had a wonderful first-time workout with coach Emily at this location! She was SO thoughtful during the introductory session, and her playlist totallt rocked. Claire at check-in was also SUPER nice. All around a GREAT experience. Thumbs up Orangetheory!

Terrible place, will never come back again. Staff called me during working hour. After the call, I Signed up for the first free class at 7:45pm, never been to this area before, I was told by its staff parking is easy but it took me 20min to park. There was no sign outside the building, took me another 10min to find the actually studio. I was late for 5min and the door was already closed, there is no front desk, I had to wait outside for 10min until someone showed up and told me I can not join today. I ended up talking to another studio on the same floor, the front desk is much more helpful and welcoming, I signed up their membership.========= response =========During my initial phone call, it was not communicated to me that a health examination and a waiver would be required prior to my first workout. I was only asked if I could arrive 20 minutes early to speak with the coach, which left me unprepared for the expectations set upon arrival. Furthermore, after waiting outside for 10 minutes, I found the staff's response rather indifferent, lacking warmth and welcoming. Unfortunately, no further explanation or follow-up was provided regarding this issue. These circumstances culminated in a less than satisfactory experience.

Amazing place to improve fitness levels. Fun classes, great coaches and very welcoming staff. Studio is spacious and does not feel congestedThey keep the studios, equipments and the place updated and clean. Parking is easy as there is a garage behind which has 3 hour free parking.
