Powder House Park is a small, cool, and quiet piece of greenery in Somerville, near Tufts campus. It is a beautiful, tree-lined park with old, massive trees, gorgeous all year round. People enjoy relaxing on the comfy benches, having picnics, and watching others. It is a good picnic spot and dogs are permitted on leash. Some note that the broken cement stones on sidewalks are inconvenient and unsafe, needing repair. While it lacks public restrooms, adding more picnic tables and children's play equipment could make it more suitable for families. Despite some city traffic, it remains a favorite place to drink in the vibes.

Grateful to have this little piece of greenery and quiet in the middle of Somerville. I saw people chilling and playing guitar on a bench, setting up for picnics and birthday parties, photoshoots. Love this park.
