Fabulous venue with a great staff and fantastic assortment of shows! Large bar available for drink and snack purchases inside the theater space, as well as a great little cafe up front for coffee, tea or preshow nibbles. Handicap friendly - ramp out front and elevator inside!

Unusual, warm space that makes room for everything from markets to The Moth.

The venue seems nice, but the man who was taking tickets was extremely unpleasant. Several people, myself included, had valid tickets through Ticketmaster transfer that we purchased from people who were unable to attend the event. Seating was first come, first served. He seemed very stressed by the situation and told all of us to go to the back of the line because we didn't have the last name on the order. He was repeatedly very rude to some of the other women in front of us who simply asked if he could look up the confirmation number, and then he was rude to us before we even had a chance to say anything to him. After some 70 other people were let in from behind us, we were told that the last name was the only way to verify the tickets. We all had barcodes, confirmation numbers, and Google/apple wallet tickets. He had no means of scanning the barcodes and did not seem able to look up the confirmation numbers we had on his laptop. I have not run into this type of problem at any event with Ticketmaster tickets before. He eventually became frustrated and let us all in, but we were left to find the last of the seats because of this, which we felt was unfair as many people had arrived in line after us.

Historic location in Somerville. The venue is its own amusing. The open beam design and exposed plumbing is fascinating

We saw Two Girls One Ghost perform. THEY were amazing, but this venue SUCKED. The audience were squished like sardines into rickety cheap chairs that killed our backs. The bathrooms were trashed. My seat kept getting kicked and moved by everyone around me. I had people's hair, arms, and even shoes pressed against me the whole show. At one point someone's salad fell all over my lap & I had wine spilled on me. Felt like a mosh pit! Way too overcrowded!

Love Arts at the Armory. I have seen several events there and always had a great time. Check out their upcoming events. There seems to be something for everyone. The Armory Rooted Cafe also does a nice job with a variety of food and drink options.

Cool place! I've been there a couple times for different things. Once I was in a small little venue for live music, there was a little cafe (If I remember correctly, this was a couple years ago); most recently I was there for a fitness event in their big room that has a stage. It was a great room! And setup nicely with a set of bathrooms right inside the same main room where our event was instead of people streaming in and out, which would have leaked a lot of sound into the other part of the building. Great floor, great stage, great sound system... Awesome all around.
