Disappointed with the customer service trying to get a propane refill. They asked me to wait 20 minutes for the person to get back when the person got back. They made me wait another 20 minutes more for what was effectively a 30 second propane refill and recommended that I go somewhere else

It’s been a crazy week. Things just got a little better thanks to Hector. I have had mixed experiences with U-haul in the past. This particular location is top notch.

I called at 7 PM to reserve a cargo van for 11pm. I followed the prompts on the app and confirmed my 11pm pickup. Once I arrived and filled out the verification on the app it said I can pick up my van at 2am. I called customer service. They fixed the reservation. Then the key code (202) for box number 2 did not work. I spent over 30 mins on the phone until they gave me the code to box number 3 which was for a box truck. They said the upgrade was free and they also said they provided me a partial credit back on my card for $50.
While it was an annoying process, u-haul made good in fixing the problem. Assuming I see the credit hit my card in a few days.

Huge shout-out to the customer service folks at this location for their awesome help.
When a previous u-haul reservation fell through at the last minute, they were able to get me the truck I needed, right then and there, with no hassle. They were kind, professional, and efficient.
Moving season in Somerville is madness, and they made my experience as smooth as it could be with the resources they had. Those legends are in the thick of it right now and came through for me when I needed help. Highly recommend!

The agent was talking on his personal phone and I had to wait several minutes till he finished talking before I was helped. The trailer was not swept out when it was given to me.

Rented a van and receptionist told me to park on the street. Asked if it’s fine to park there she assured me that’s the only parking they have and I won’t get a ticket, came back to a $50 ticket.

I reserved plastic bins for my move for a specific day and when I went to pick them up, they just told me that even if I reserved them, they don’t have any available so I have to look somewhere else!

Be aware- was told by staff that they cannot fill propne unless there has been absolutely no rain for at least a couple of hours.
