Extremely rude customer service...both time when I picked up the vehicle and return it with different front desk person. brought a lot of stress to the rental process.

I have tried several storage facilities over the years, and this is the nicest in terms of how the building is designed, lit and maintained. The management wasn't super strict with the payment of the storage unit rent: I was slightly late a few times, and they were understanding about it, I might have had to pay late fees only once. So that was the good part. On the downside, something that shocked me about that place is how grossly inadequate the staff is. Over the past few years, beside renting a storage unit there, I have rented a van several times, and also went there to buy packing supplies a few times: almost every time, the staff member who "took care of me" was inadequate: either looking super absent and half asleep, or rude, or even borderline aggressive. Bad attitude, rarely any "hello" or "goodbye", let alone thank you, you name it. Only once was a lady at the front desk smiling and friendly. All the other times they got me thinking: "Do these people realize that they are part of a business and are taking care of customers, therefore they have to be not just nice, but EXTRA nice? Are they trying to scare people away? Does the management have a strict policy of recruiting only people who just graduated from ... jail?" Today, as I put an end to this 2 year and a half storage unit rental, the guy at the front desk looked like he was dealing with an intensely painful matter, or that he had just had Botox injected all over his face. At the end of the exchange, he recited a memorized "thank-you" formula that went like "U-haul thanks you for choosing them" or something like that. I say "recited" and "memorized" because he said it twice, and either time with the exact same wording and artificial, monotonous sounding voice, like a bad actor who delivers a line he managed to memorize but feels totally foreign to. At the very end, I distinctly said to him "thank you so much, have a great day". And for answer, I got... nothing. Nothing at all. Clearly there is zero training focusing on how to treat customers nicely in that place. On the contrary, there seems to be a marked trend to recruit only people who suffer from some kind of deficiency when it comes to basic interhuman communication. Weird. Not appealing. Not helping.

Horrendous experience with the storage units as well as dropping off the rental truck. I'm not even going to waste my time going through it all. Still have fucking PTSD from it all. Seriously stay away at all costs I'm taking my business to Budget or Penske next time and I'd recommend anyone reading this to do the same.

I asked for an 8x8 unit that could fit not only a sectional couch but enough room to get it through the door. I was told there were multiple units and the hallway would be big enough to get the couch in. Yes you guessed it. The couch wasn't going to be able to fit. I went back to the front desk and spent two hours trying to get a spot that was big enough. After giving me another space of the same size and location and finally a space that was half the size of the other two, I thought I was being linked. Now two hours in, I said forget it. I was told my money would be refunded. It has been over a week and my money has not been returned. An email to the GM has gone unanswered. A phone call resulted in 45 minutes of anguish trying to get an answer. Same answer 3-5 business days. If the customer service wasn't absolutely atrocious I would go to the store itself. While I was there the employees argued and pointed fingers at each other. One threatened to quit on the spot. What does that have to do with me? FYI while looking at the space I noticed rat traps everywhere, people trespassing and a few unleashed dogs. This is inside where your valuables will be. Do not go here. Do not call here. Do not rent from here. Nothing good can come from it. Last time..... if you are thinking about using this business snap out of it. DON'T DO IT!!!!! If we could give a negative star review there wouldn't be enough. 1 star is a gift!

Customer service the worst and parking at the facility is a nightmare. Place is filthy and I think people actually reside in the storage units. Avoid this place-

Let me preface this by saying I can't prove anything, but I'm fairly confident the propane attendant stole my credit card info. I filled my small tank up here a week ago, and instead of swiping, he just came and took a picture of my card (I assumed it was how their pos system worked). A week later, someone adds my card to Samsung pay (I've got an iPhone) and goes on a spending spree in Montreal. I would have given them the benefit of the doubt, but looking back at my statement and I was never charged for the propane.

Don't even consider this place for getting a hitch installed. Had mine installed awhile back and on the drive none of the lights worked, figured I'd get it fixed later because I couldn't push the move back. Had another Uhaul look at it and they told me that whoever installed my wiring had no idea what they were doing and totally butchered the electrical in my car. Not I have to have the dealership fix it and file a claim with Uhaul. Avoid this place at all costs for hitches!

Came in for a propane refill. Tim, who worked on 1/30, was incredibly rude. I was the only one in the store - Tim answer my question about types of refill done here with "I don't know", made it very clear that whatever he was doing was more important that talking to me, and barked at me to wait outside by the pumps (it's 14 degrees out today). 15 min later an older gentleman with a white beard came out and helped. The older gentleman was quite nice...I'm not sure how Tim is in a customer facing role.

I've used this Uhaul location both for storage and for two truck rentals over the last two years and it went smoothly each time. Seems like a lot of other people have had issues at this location, but my experience was quite pleasant and easy.

This is literally the worst customer service I have experienced in 6 years living in the Boston area. I spent over one hour trying to access my storage unit because they were assigning me occupied lockers consistentely. They have no control over the units that are busy/available at all, it is a complete disaster. The person in customer service was extremely rude and yelled at me. I had to ask for a refund since I could not find one single available unit.

I saw at least 2 of the employees not masking, and the guy who was filling propane didn’t wear his mask when refilling propane tanks in close proximity to customers. Just irresponsible. Seriously, what the heck?

I felt pretty good after reading the comments and know that I am not the only one being treated terribly by the front desk employee. At least the person is fair to everyone, equally rude, annoying, unhelpful, and offensive. I am surprised that the manager still lets this continue without intervening. Interesting. I know it is not the employee's business, but being professional should be a minimal requirement.I came here because the pickup that I wanted was not available at other locations and there are plenty (at least shown online) at this location. I think I know part of the reason why that is.Other than the attitude, the renting process was OK. Vehicle is clean and new. No issue with that.

We reserved an after hours rental for 10:30 pm, which we receive multiple confirmations for and were charged for. There was no truck ready for pick up when we arrived and no one at the location. After waiting for a half hour on the phone to speak with someone to no avail, I finally heard back from the company via Facebook messenger. They simply said that there was not a truck available for pick up and that we would have to go back in the morning. As with anyone renting a moving truck, we are moving on a tight schedule which has been completely destroyed by this mistake. The worst part is that we were staring at easily multiple trucks that could have been ours.
