I went there yesterday for about the 1000th time... It's a Post Office and, it's good. Who else will do anything for $0.47? There was a young women at the counter who hadn't packed her stuff into boxes. It was as if she had no idea how a Post Office works... The woman behind the counter was very patiently helping her. It was nice. The people working here are, in my experience, always nice and helpful. Sometimes the lines get a bit long but, what do you expect? Most of the time it's quick.

A very friendly and fast post office! The employees are kind and easy to work with.

Anticipate long wait times. They might run things a little more smoothly if they had a take-a-number system, like at a deli. But I suppose that wouldn’t change much here considering there is not so much as a chair in the room. Hope you like standing!

Extremely long line, only one person at the desk.

Awful customer service! I went in to get my passport and when I tried to use two secondary ID’s as a primary ID they refused, even though the passport site said that I can use them as a primary ID. I tried showing them the site and everything but they refused! I had to go to another USPS which was an HOUR away from me. They also thought I couldn’t substitute it but called the passport place which did confirm that they can function as a substitute.

I sent thousands of dollar's sending jewelry, not to mail order but to family, and friend's as gifts. They never received them! Solid Gold, and Diamond's. No restitution came from the United States Postal Service. I Aldo went through UPS, Pordering hundreds of thousands of dollar's, and gave hundreds of thousands more to the United State's Postal Service in work, benefit's, pay, etc, as I had my own business. Only to be stalked, given the middle finger, beaten down to this day by Postal worker's with an attitude problem, stealing mail themselve's in Cambridge, my old neighborhood on Kingdton street in Somerville, Campbell Park steals mail too and then bullied put of our home because I have Autism and other disabilitie's. Are you kidding me with all the overtime you all get plus everywhere benefit to cause me great bodily harm! Good Night as my most dearly Admired Son Joran would say. My God he is Brave, and I Admire, and Love him so much.

Worst post office experience. Passport appt canceled; we weren’t told in advance. Only found out when we arrived. Super unhelpful at this post office.

This is one of the worst post office in the US! I put my mail on hold and the instructions stated that I can pick up my mail at my local post office. Today, I went to my local post office (this office) to get my mail and was told that I had to contact the Chelsea, MA branch. I was provided with two numbers to call. The first number does not work. The second number no one picks up. I ask the guy that was at the front to call and he refused. He stated that it is not his job to inform that branch that holds mails are not being delivered to his center as it is supposed to.

I do not know why I torture myself. There is always a line that moves at a snail's pace. This must be the only post office where people come for passports and that slows EVERYTHING else down. Just need a label broker or a receipt? Pull up a chair and get comfy. You're gonna be here awhile.

I had a great experience. Convenient location. Needed to mail a small item and get stamps. Had various padded package options in stock and service was professional.

Zero stars if I could. Clerk was extremely rude. He was trying to tell me to use another envelope even though I’ve used a similar envelope before to mail a similar item and got mad when I didn’t switch the envelopes. He was bad mouthing another customer in the back with a colleague that everyone could clearly hear. Never mailing anything if he’s working the desk.

Not sure what all the negative reviews are about, but I can share this:It was empty except for one person walking in ahead of me on Tuesday morning at 9am. Spacious. There’s a door off to the left that’s clearly marked for packages that are already labeled and paid for - GREAT for small business owners like me who ship often and print from home. Unfortunately no self serve kiosk available. 5 minute parking right outside made this drop off so easy. Happy to move into the neighborhood and know I can reliably use this location for my business.

Customer care is not exactly the hallmark of the US post offices, but this location takes it to a new low. This tends to be a very busy location, with complex transactions, and yet they rarely have more than one of the three desks staffed. When I was there recently , those of us in line with a very complicated transaction happening at the desk asked the clerk if anyone else was available to help us. The clerk did not even acknowledge that we were speaking. This would be rude in any circumstance, but in a public facing, arguably customer service role, it's genuinely horrifying. Go to any other postal office that you can get to instead of this one.

Most unhelpful employees I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing at a USPS center— arrived twenty minutes early for a passport appointment, was told to wait in line. Didn’t get to talk to anybody until ten minutes after my appointment started because of the line, and was told “I was late” and would receive no help with my passport. Avoid this post office at all cost, you’d be better off at any of the post offices in Cambridge.
