The pharmacy is very unorganized and inconsistent. There are times when I have called about the status of my prescription and they have told me it was not in stock and on back order and when I talked to a different staff member on the same day within the same hour they have told me the last person I talked to was incorrect. There is a lack of communication between staff members. I would recommend calling before picking up your prescription since there are many times I’m in line and see people being turned away. I get the same prescriptions every month and every month there is always problems with both of them. The pharmacy needs to do training that is consistent with all staff and there should not be only one staff member assisting at the register.

Horrible service, the older Indian gentleman with the longer beard was extremely rude, unhelpful, and smiled when he was frustrating me because of his lack of help. Hope someone deals with him and removes him off staff or gives him better training

horrible service, the pharmacist was rude and kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain my situation to her. she refused to fill my prescription even though I already received prior authorization by my insurance because my doctor did not write a note on my prescription. try to get your prescriptions filled at a different pharmacy

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Every single time they incorrectly fill my prescription. I require a specific brand, which is written in the prescription notes, the prescription header, and every time I refill I mention I need the brand in the comment field. The only explanation is they blindly refill the prescription without reading the notes. Save yourself the headache and choose a different pharmacy.

I went to this Walgreens to deposit cash via Capitol One. I was told by the two workers here that the entire Walgreens company cannot do it. I even showed them the app saying that it was any Walgreens or CVS.
I drove 10 mins to another Walgreens location ALSO in Somerville and she did it no problem in under 10 seconds.
They need to be retrained at this location on their company offerings maybe.

whenever possible i try to do business at inman pharmacy just a block away. the staff at inman pharmacy are wonderful and in regards to the economic health of this neighborhood i am always looking to do business with local businesses instead of national chains. and….. believe or not… often the prices at inman pharmacy are better.

We went in for passport photos for two people after being rejected at other places like in east boston. A very sweet lady, helped us immediately was super nice we did had to go back because the pictures were “too far” according to the USPS and she helped us again very nice without having to pay it again. But we were treated super nice comparing to the last place we went to.

I will be avoiding this location going forward. I went in to get a passport photo and had a very abrasive associate in his early fifties with dark graying, thinning slicked back hair address me as kid. He proceeded to tell me that the photo he took of me wouldn't be suitable for the marines and made a few other questionable unsolicited jabs. Terrible experience, he kept me waiting for 15 minutes before the photo and 10 minutes after, if I didn't need the photo for my renewal urgently, I would have walked. I recommend that this rude person be let go and also provided his description in case you encounter him and don't feel like dealing with a bitter surly know-it-all.

Speaking to the staff on the phone is like speaking to some robot. They feel dead inside and no willingness to help. Sad.

The Asian woman pharmacist is horrible and belittles you for her mistakes. She doesn't order or fill prescriptions that have been in the system for 2 weeks and then makes up ridiculous lies as to why. The woman pharmacist that she replaced was absolutely wonderful. Save yourself aggravation and stress and find another pharmacy. The location on Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge is great.

My Walgreens closed with short notice and informed me they'd be transferring my prescriptions to the CVS nearby. Never happened, so I called this location to get my prescriptions refilled and they told me I had to call my doctor to have them sent it again instead of just filling them since they're still in the computer. No thanks. I'll just switch to CVS at this point.
