This Walgreens pharmacy, and everyone working here are incompetent and a complete disgrace!! I despise that I had to transfer here from Rite Aid after a move, and am leaving asap to never return!
Their tone of voices make it completely obvious that they dread helping customers & God forbid if you have to call or dare to ask more than one simple question. NONE of them (except one of the younger males that helps there) appear to have an ounce of compassion in their bones! They think they are always right, and yet so very often wrong! My health insurance AND doctor's office both just apologized to me for Walgreens' actions and their complete lack of responsibility in helping me with a prior authorization (that's THEIR job) that they told me wasn't complete and wouldn't give me my rx. Naturally, once again, they were wrong and needed to be corrected by my health insurance and physician (who also gets extremely annoyed with them!!) Their lazy & selfish staff made me jump through many hoops only for me to be told that Walgreens was supposed to call my insurance, NOT me! My goodness, I could go on & on!
There used to be a time back in the day when their employees at the pharmacy were kind and helpful, and now they just treat everyone like complete garbage! This review is coming from a professional Registered Nurse who ALWAYS treats people with dignity and respect.

Extremely rude and incompetent. Inconsistent information about the prescription and did not offer to contact the Dr. for clarification. Also this pharmacist is closed now on Sunday. A Walgreens that is close to a hospital closed on Sunday? Going elsewhere.

Do not expect employees to be helpful here. Pharmacy is not caring and is handled by children

I had my passport photos taken at a different Walgreens on a trip 5 days ago. The photos were rejected by the passport site. Since I couldn't go back to that Walgreens, I came to this one to get the photos retaken. I had the physical photos with print date/time barcode and the email from Walgreens with the picture, as well as evidence that the picture was rejected for a passport. The staff took my picture but then said I would have to pay the $17 dollars again since I didn't have the original receipt. Instead of paying, I just went to a different Walgreens and they were able to retake the pictures for free without the receipt.

Went in for a passport photo. Took about 40 minutes to get my photo because there was only one person at the front desk. Went home. Downloaded the digital copy which is what I needed but they sent me the unedited photo which is not valid for what I need. Wasted $18.

Got some vaccinations at their pharmacy! The staff were so kind and helpful. The process was quick and easy, plus they let me wait in the room after I got vaccinated since I’d walked there and was a bit dizzy, staff even checked on me to make sure I was okay. Would definitely come back for future vaccines!

Today. And as always. The cashier, an old lady, is very rude. But now there was a young girl who was scanning products. I politely asked him if he could confirm the price of some perfumes. But the price was still high. And some did not have clarity yet. Whoever doesn't buy them. And he got upset. When I had already purchased another item. I saw her again pushing a cart with products. And so much was the anger that he pushed him with anger that he dropped them. His whole attitude is in retaliation for someone asking about prices. They are rude. Badly educated. Disgusting. They do not serve the customer with respect.

I’ve probably never came across a pharmacy that treats people so terribly in my life. Not even me, watching how they believe they are better than people is just sad. I really hope they start treating people who are both wealthy and poor like humans.

I work right next door to this one so it was super convenient when I realized I only had a small time left to pay for a bus ticket with a barcode given through Greyhound - attached: says online visit your local Walgreens, Speedway, CVS, etc. with a printed barcode or phone code to pay with cash. the barcode was going to expire 15 minutes so I HAD to pay but was also working so couldn’t go far. Brought the barcode in and the cashier said “I can’t do it we don’t do it here” I said you do and you can do it you just don’t want to figure it out. She looked at me and said once again “I can’t do it. “ I said just scan the barcode I give you the cash we’re done. She said she wouldn’t do it. The barcode expired - now I am missing my sisters grad party in western mass simply because the Walgreens cashier on Broadway in Somerville didn’t feel like doing her job. (Tall skinny Asian woman)

I had a bad experience picking up medication. The pharmacy line was very long (there was only one attendant on duty at peak hours) and there was a flashing broken fluorescent light directly over the queue. The clicking sound and flashing from the light were just awful.
