“I cannot speak more highly of this garden center. I think the biggest flaw is that they start to give me strange looks after wandering around the green house for 3 hours. It’s my Disneyland. The flowers are always (always) in near perfect condition. They must put a ton off care into them and in their presentation because this isn’t a place where you’re narrowing between the best two plants; all the plants are gorgeous. It’s impossible to make a decision. I have never gone planning on buying “just a few” and not walked out with a wagon full of plants…. that transplant excellently and remain healthy. The staff is friendly and helpful and the prices cannot be beat. I am so happy I found this gem a few years back.”

“I absolutely love this nursery and I go to all the nurseries within a couple hours of my house and Sugarloaf has the best selection and the healthiest and prettiest plants that look fresh. I've noticed they take good care of them while they are at the nursery and the employees (especially Dan who is superb) are extremely helpful. They've communicated with me via email on a special shrub I wanted and couldnt find anywhere else and I happily drive 2.5 hours to Sugarloaf and stop by when Im passing thru to midwest or upper New England. It's in a beautiful area as well and Im so happy I found this nursery. Last weekend I stopped in and noticed they have bar code scanning for checkout (instead of the old pencil and pad:) and now I see they are offering online direct shipping. They definitely are up to speed with all the latest plants that everyone is wanting and now their customer service technology is great as well.”

The garden shop offers a wonderful mix of nature-inspired cards, pottery, garden art, birdhouses, wind chimes, and other unique treasures that you won’t find everywhere. Add in the backdrop of open fields, trees, and mountain views, and it’s easy to spend more time there than you planned. It’s one of those places where the care, creativity, and attention to detail are evident wherever you look.”
