“Tyler went ABOVE AND BEYOND in replacing a rear brake cable! We are traveling in our RV & today was my last chance to enjoy the CCRT (I had my husband go ahead yesterday without me when we discovered my bike ? was in need of some repairs) & was truly disappointed that I hadn’t been able to ride.
We come to the Cape every September from Buffalo NY to spend a week enjoying all that Cape Cod has to offer, and Tyler did everything to get my seldom used bicycle back in tip top condition while we waited! Then he let us park our RV in the lot so we didn’t have to waste any time before hitting the trail. He even brought us the trail map & made recommendations for our route.

“I would give Gordon at the Bike Zone 10 stars if that was an option. I originally called the shop because I was coming down from Vermont to visit my parents on the Cape and wanted to see if they had a certain type of bike seat. I believe I spoke to the owner Tim and he said that I would be much better off having a bike fitting with Gordon (I had no idea at this point that Gordon was the best kept secret on Cape Cod). I was on the fence because a bike fitting was nowhere on my radar. All I wanted to do was buy a new fancy saddle. So, I thought about it overnight and did some research on the idmatch bike fitting system. I still was hesitant but I called the shop back the next day to take the plunge and book the fit. Maybe buying my 5th bike saddle in 3 years wasn't the best plan to address my seat discomfort. The rest is history. The bike fitting with Gordon was so amazing that I feel like I bought a new bike. Gordon's cycling resume includes actually racing on a European team. His experience proved priceless and it resulted in me getting a bike fit from an absolute pro. His questions and tips as we rode together made so much sense but could only come from someone with a real road racing background. Gordon took about 3hours to complete my fitting. He is so patient, unassuming and easy to talk with. I came away from the fit feeling that I had just met the kindest person on the Cape and an amazing human. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this experience. He fit my cleats, we went on an actual ride on the streets around the shop, I rode the simulator, he meticulously made major adjustments to my bike and we then went on a 2nd ride together outside on the streets nearby to make sure all the adjustments worked. I cannot believe how having my seat way too high could throw off so many other things on my bike. Well, I went on a ride after work today and my bike rides better than it did right after the fit. In the end, I didn't even need a new bike seat. All I really needed was a bike fit with Gordon, who I truly think is the best of the best.”

“I highly recommend Rail Trail & Kayak Rentals. We rented E-Bikes from Phillip on September 24th. I had never use one before and Phillip was patient and professional to guide me through the controls. You can enter the Cape Cod Rail Trail from behind his location which made the experience extremely easy and enjoyable. If you are in the Brewster area, he is the one to rent from. We traveled from Chatham about a 20-minute drive, and it was worth it.”
