“Best art gallery in Cape Cod. Wonderfully talented local artist. Beautiful oil paintings of Bass River and Cape Cod. The artist, herself, is there most days to talk to you about the paintings. The gallery is also her studio where she paints. You can stop by and watch her paint. The gallery is located on 28 across from the Bass River marina. There is plenty of parking in the rear. It is a wonderful gallery by a very talented local artist from Bass River. She paints many scenes from Bass River including windsurfers, kite borders, cat sail boats, Wiano sail boats, still lifes, and beach scenes. She has prints as well as original oil paintings in all different sizes. The colors of the paintings are very vivid and bright. It is a very quaint New England Cape Cod gallery in a very very old historic building.”

“Fritz is an incredible artist and extremely courteous. When I told him I was learning to make glass he took the time to tell me in detail his process and show me his shop. One of the best experiences I ever had in a studio. Thanks Fritz and June”

“Wayne's the real deal. And the antiques are the real deal - or he tells you immediately when they're not (i.e. high quality replicas). I can't tell you how many awesome pieces I have acquired from Wayne over the years. He really knows his stuff inside and out, he is NEVER over-priced, and I learn something fascinating about 18th, 19th or early 20th century craftsmanship every time I visit. Everything from 19th C. German-made grandfather clocks (that keep time to within a second a week!) , and antique toys, to glass and jewelry, and fine art and china to lanterns and tools.”

“Bennett Gallery was a great framing experience! There was an amazing selection of mats and frames that were fun to put together with the owner Kevin. The prices are also very fair for custom framing! The front of the store has a lot of selection- not only of Kevin's local photography but also art from other local artists! Gotta love that! I would absolutely recommend Bennett Gallery for framing- and also prints! (He has great coasters that I have given for years as Christmas gifts!)”

“I stopped in while on vacation from Southern California. I was so impressed with the featured artist Maddie Ahrensfeld. Meeting her was the greatest part. Her art is bright colored, detail oriented and full of life. The other artists works were so inviting. I left with a happy heart and bag full of great things.”

“Coolest gallery on the cape. Really great staff and the best of local artists. It's also a really cool architectural find. If your looking for a really interesting stop and a touch of local culture the Underground Gallery is a nice piece of local history.”

“Lauren's art is gorgeous. I walked by the gallery a year ago. One of her paintings was on an easel outside. It stopped me in my tracks. The painting of antique blue bottles with the ocean in the background was so beautiful. we had just bought a house on the Cape and needed to furnish it. fast forward a year and we are ready to buy art. Lauren's painting is the first piece we bought for our home. It is in a prominent spot above the sofa. I will always cherish it.”

“Great farm stand with fresh grown veggies, beautiful cut flowers grown right there, and handcrafted art, woodworkings, lip balms, and more. Not only is there a constantly changing variety of goods but the farm stand itself is displayed beautifully and just invites you in to come take a look! One hundred percent recommend and I will definitely be going back myself. Also the owner is incredibly friendly if you happen to catch her out working the garden when you stop by.”

“From museums, att galleries, shops, restaurants & live performances, the HyArts Cultural Center has offerings up, down, & around Main Street & beyond, year-round. I think it must have evolved from the way businesses were forced to adapt during Covid, but it's a welcome evolution.”

“Always enjoy a night here! The cocktails are creative (love the Beets & Bourbon) and the small bites are yummy as well. They also often have live music from some really fun local bands/singers! Can't wait for more summer nights here.”
