Have had service for years. The amount of craziness going on with the accounts payable is unacceptable. Finally gave up. It's too bad because I know the company tries to help the community but it's just not worth it. I wish the best for them.

I want to say how wonderful Julie is in so clearly and easily dealing with a change in my pick up schedule.Due to a change in my personal schedule I had to put a hold on pick up for a couple weeks and Julie did the math and made the associated billing accurate and clear.She listens well, communicates clearly and knows the system well.Thank you Julie.

A true fall from grace. The countless 1star reviews before me sum up the issues and concerns. After being a nauset customer for nearly a decade, we cancelled about 2 month ago to work with another company who has been great and so efficient so far. They still haven’t picked up their totes…I feel terrible for the employees who have less job security now that there is different ownership. Imagine building a career here and now curious if you’ll have a job next year.

I was going to give them 1 star like everybody else because I had a lot of problems this year. When they dropped on-call pick ups with no notice this summer that was a big issue for me. When I complained that I had a full recycle bin, they did agree to come out and empty it but only since I was now forced to add weekly recycling which I did not need. The call hold times were totally unacceptable but today I called and I think the hold time was about 5 minutes and I did speak to a very nice person on the other end. Unfortunately I was calling to cancel the service. I started looking around and found a much cheaper local alternative with good reviews. I am going to try them and hope for the best. Nauset was such a good service for years but when a company is no longer local and they don't staff adequately, it's time to explore other options. Finally, when I canceled, no one asked why or seemed to care. But she was pleasant and efficient. We'll see if our old Nauset barrels get removed in a timely manner as promised.

If I could give zero stars I would. My experience is the same as many of the negative comments. Was very happy with our service with Chase and Merchant - zero issues, very responsive, reasonably priced, reliable and accommodating. Since the new management took over I've experienced nothing but issues. Everything changed. Prices went through the roof. Missed pick ups. Can NEVER get a person on the phone. I canceled service and sourcing a new one. Sad and frustrating as this was one service I never needed to worry about - always got a sweet woman on the phone who was organized, helpful and met our needs from season to season. This is now a mess- totally unprofessional, no one appears to care or know what they are doing. Big disappointment.

So dissapointing. Used for years with great results. Last year they dissolved from worse to horrible. No one answers the phone, zero communication. Website never works. Incorrect billing. Multiple missed pick ups. New unnanounced "fuel service charges" of $26 a month. Its a shame to see what was a good company disintegrate so fast.

This company used to be ok but has really gone down the toilet.After being a customer for 3 years, they suddenly informed me that they were cutting off periodic “on call” pickups this summer. Additionally the time to pick up the phone has increased to 10-20 minutes. Also, the number of missed, scheduled pickups has dramatically increased. Finally I’ve asked them repeatedly to not drive on the driveway but no only do they ignore this, the guy compacts the garbage on the driveway,Leaving behind a puddle of garbage juice which needs to get washed out due to attracting rodents. (See photo). This company truly has lost its way. They went from a great company to the worst operated service provider on the cape. Highly recommend looking elsewhere. Would have given them negative stars had the opportunity been available.Service: Trash removal & disposal

While I am sure the old owners made a good business decision, and hopefully are laughing all the way to the bank - nothing is funny about the current state of this company. What a total shame. I probably did not think about my trash pick up once in 10 years. I don’t even know what it cost during that time, it just was reliable.Since coming under new ownership, this company has become unreliable, unresponsive to concerns, and its billing practices are frustrating.I have had many of the same problems listed in all of the one star complaints. If anyone is reading this, wondering if they should use a Nauset disposal - do yourself a favor and do not. I will be looking to change.**Addendum** Just got off the phone with Nauset. And I wanted to acknowledge very pleasant encounter. Someone answered (!!) and smoothly canceled my service.

Steer clear! Customer contact with them is nonexistent. I have been trying for months to get Nauset disposal to pick up two barrels that the prior homeowners left behind when they canceled the service on sale of the home to us. They do not pick up the phone, do not respond to voicemail, do not have a working email address, and, despite my making the request in person to a Nauset driver who was on our street and made a note of it 2 to 3 months ago, the barrels are still cluttering my yard. While the new owners are keeping their social active, they set it up so that they cannot be contacted via that means as well, or even have comments on their posts.

Had residential trash pick up from Nauset Disposal, couldn't be happier with the service! The person who does my road would walk up my driveway and get my trash can if I forgot to put it by the road. I have had a lot going on in my life and give this person and the company a lot of respect. He doesn't have to walk up my driveway, it's my responsibility to put it out but I work long days and have a lot of responsibilities. Thank you so much for everything and I hope I can get this man lunch sometime to repay him for going above and beyond!Service: Trash removal & disposal

I canceled my account with Nauset disposal at the beginning of the summer. I had to call them in multiple occasions on which I kept getting hung up on and could not get in touch with someone - fast forward to now, after finally closing my account I owed them $.00 dollars, I just got a bill from them for $300.00...for what? a service I have not received in 3 months? ridiculous, steer clear and reach out to a local company. Pina Sanitation has been amazing so far.

I have used Nauset Disposal for years and never had a problem until the last few months. I am an autopay customer with a payment method on file and they have continued to charge my card, however, the last two weeks they have neglected to pick up my trash and have sent me a notice of suspension for non payment. I can’t get anybody on the phone for the last few months for anything despite staying on hold for long periods of time, nobody has replied to my emails, and I have trash piling up in my house to avoid it being torn apart by animals or the weather. At this point I am beyond frustrated and not sure what I am even paying for. I’ve never written a bad review in my life but I am absolutely floored at the lack of service and communication combined with suspension of service for non payment while i am actively enrolled in autopay and they are still sending me receipts for charges they’ve processed. I could be patient and understanding if someone actually called me back and let me know they are experiencing issues but all I am getting is crickets and becoming increasingly angry at the whole situation.If you’re looking for a trash service with reliable customer service, do yourself a favor and call Brianna at Cavossa Disposal. I’ve had a better experience just getting a quote from her than I have had the entirety of my relationship with Nauset. It’s disappointing, to say the least.Service: Trash removal & disposal

If you enjoy actually having your trash picked up when you are paying for that service, please avoid this company. Not only do they not pick up the garbage, they ARE garbage. We left them last week and they were supposed to come pick up their wretched, broken, gross barrels today and did not. Now it’s up to us to dispose of these monstrosities. Do not use.
