Had the pleasure of having my wedding here over Columbus Day weekend! By far the best wedding experience. Professional, detailed and accommodating. Karen was by far the most organized and on top of every detail. She really made this experience magical. The food was by far the most delicious meal I have ever had at a wedding. All of my guest absolutely loved the food. No one had one negative thing to say. Most of my guests stayed the weekend and it really was a fantastic experience for all of us. I'm still getting messages about how wonderful of a wedding it was. Thank you Karen, Holly, Jeff and all the Red Jacket Staff for making this experience so Memorable.

We had our wedding at the Red Jacket Beach Resort and we are so grateful we did. We wanted the Cape Cod charm and to show off the natural beauty of the local beaches - everything far exceeded our expectations when their Food & Beverage Manager, Karen Rood, got involved. Karen’s thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and expertise made it feel like a family member was coordinating our wedding with us for nearly 2 years. She worked with us to make sure the wedding day and weekend fit our vision, and we can’t wait to return to celebrate anniversaries and visit with friends and family in the future. Thank you for giving us the wedding beyond what we could have dreamed. And we can’t leave out the amazing food their Chef prepared highlighting local seafood and going above and beyond to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions, and their reception team led by Molly, who worked so hard to accommodate us and all our dear guests. Cannot recommend their team highly enough for your wedding or other event!

Check in at 4pm, called early on same day to ask if room could be ready by 3 as we were attending a wedding at their facility to get family of 4 ready for the rehearsal at 4. Staff was unwilling to help and were rude throughout the day. Thousands of dollars were spent at this resort over the weekend by the family. Customer service at the front desk was non-existent. Will never use a red jacket facility again. Luckily the wedding was beautiful. Also Cottage was more like a 3rd rate motel. Very outdated, stained old carpets, stains on couch, mold forming on bathroom ceiling. Dumpster being emptied at the crack of dawn on a Saturday and Sunday?♀️

My fiance and I went just to get away for 4 nights. We got a corner room over looking the ocean. They were always cleaning something even the beach. All the employees were very friendly and professional. We will definitely be returning again soon.

This is an older hotel that needs a lot of updating! The bathroom and sink area are two, very small separate rooms. The rooms have a musty smell and everything seemed sticky from the moisture. We did have an issue with the tub barely draining and the issue was taken care of promptly. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped and the individual decks are nice. We did not use the pool area but it also looked good. The beach area is very nice and has loungers and chairs. The food and bar area including alcoholic drinks was adequate. The servers in the restaurant ( who were foreigners temporarily working for the summer months ) were friendly and accommodating. However, the woman who manages the servers needs additional training in how to treat her staff and the guests. I saw her chastise an employee in front of the guests. Very unprofessional!Overall, the Red Jacket is not the red carpet of hotels.

*BUYER BEWARE* Firstly, rooms are disgusting. No getting around it (Ocean front) Secondly it’s extremely overpriced. We are here now, it’s 9:45 in the evening, the walls are so paperthin we can hear the guests next to us talking. The room is dirty, carpet is old and disgusting, the bathroom is dirty, tub has peeling paint and doesn’t drain. We drove 5 hours to come here, to say we are disappointed would be an understatement. This feels like a low budget motel- not a beach front stay. We’ll make the best of it but we are extremely unhappy. This room is nowhere near $500 a night more like $250 at BEST. Yea there is a pool- the mushroom fountain is shut off. Yea there is a beach- covered in mounds of seaweed and horseshoe crabs and GARBAGE. They say there is food on site- is there? We went to the “bar and grill” and the guy claimed he would be out from the back in a minute but never came out- another patron stopped to talk to us and told us how dissatisfied her and her husband were with their stay well. Definitely without a doubt would not recommend this “resort” by any means. Believe me I’ll be checking in for the “owners response..” I’ll be happy to meet in person, tomorrow, or give you my cell. We may be in touch- if the room next to us doesn’t go to sleep soon (10:10pm) and can still hear them word for word. I have two small children that need tk go to sleep.

The parking situation needs to be address. Making people pay 50$ a day only for us not to be able to park is outrageous. This price is really unfair and not justified. The shower was plugged and we were left without a shower until the next day. The room was barely okay with the bathroom being ridiculously small!

What a great place to spend a summer week with the family. If you're looking for a romantic get away this might not be your thing. If you're looking for the perfect vacation for your kids that take you back to what a vacation was when you were a kid....look no further. I felt like a teen in '85 here... yes, the place is dated or nostalgic depending on your view, and no, the bed isn't comfortable by any stretch. If you're doing it the right way you and the kids will be so exhausted you won't care because it'll be midnight before you enter the room...which happens to be steps from a well maintained private beach. The staff, mostly college kids from international backgrounds, were amazing. The activities for kids were constant and engaging, and later at night they'd all meet up at the fire pit and continue playing/swimming together in the pools. If you want a vacation that keeps the kids off the phone and full of laughter, socializing and getting physical activity in without you telling them...Red Jacket all day! We'll definitely be coming back!

Red Jacket Beach Resort is beautifully located with incredible views of the Nantucket Sound as well as a wonderful beach which is perfect for a family vacation with kids.Only problem was, I don’t have kids.As a young married couple without children I think I could have found something a little more our particular preferences. The grounds are beautiful with an outdoor as well as indoor pool. The activities are endless for families to keep their children occupied through the vacation. The rooms were very plain/basic with older fixtures and a musty, hasn’t been renovated since they banned smoking smell to it.We were also a bit disappointed that they don’t make our bed as we were told there are time restraints on cleaning due to staff shortages, which is fine however as a consumer I am having less service for the same price so I will deduct points for that as well. All in all it was a fine choice, however as a mid 30 something with no kids I would probably go elsewhere next time.Restaraunt was quick however the quality was not quite on par with the price, as hotel restaurants usually go, I would give the restaurant a 3/5 as well
