Thrift Stores in South Yarmouth, MA

“Went here for the first time yesterday and the two people working were the sweetest, personable, most helpful people!! They carry such a wide variety of items that are very clearly thought out! The organized chaos wasn’t overwhelming as it is at some thrift stores. The $1 is such a steal as well! Definitely will be back!”

“The South Yarmouth ReStore is located farther away from the beach, and is more of a contractor's supply house than it is a collection of household goods. There were plenty of different sets of cabinets, pipe fittings, and some unique pieces of furniture. The antique giant Christmas Tree Shops marquee sign was a fun sight to behold.

While most ReStores have space for books, housewares, and other items, this ReStore is on the smaller side for these things. The thrift/resale market landscape of Cape Cod is different when compared to other regions of Southern New England. There seems to be a larger population of people who find antiques of value to sell or resell. This ReStore shows me that if you are a contractor, this is a the right place for you, but if you are looking to fill the cabinetry that this ReStore sells, you might have to go someplace else.

As always, visiting local ReStore was a lot of fun!”

“Wasn’t bad. Nice people. I think the store itself could be made to be a little bit more attractive but still pretty nice. They have the best glasswares than anywhere. It all looks brand new.”

“Always a great place to find something good, and sometimes a real gem! 😊

The South Yarmouth Methodist Church Thrift Shop has a wonderful variety of treasures, from clothing and kitchen items to picture frames, jewelry, puzzles, shoes, and so much more.

The staff is super friendly, and there are always many regulars stopping by. Best of all, all proceeds support South Yarmouth Methodist Church’s ministries and outreach in the community. A great thrift shop with a great purpose!

They also have a great thrift furniture barn right next to the shop, with a wonderful variety of furniture and home goods. You never know. You might just find the perfect piece for you! The friendly volunteers work hard to make the place welcoming and enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit! 😊”
