I was with State Farm CT since last two years. When I move to MA I contacted State Farm South-borough and Matthew has helped me transferring my Auto Insurance to MA. The process was easy and I’ll give the credit to agent Matthew.Thank you Matthew and State Farm.

I've always had great experiences with my State Farm offices, and this is another one on the list. The corporate underwriting department is a piece of work, but my direct offices have always been amazing. I've been with this office for over a year now and have gone through a wealth of situations I needed advice on and dealt with and they always come through efficiently and happily. The associates are knowledgeable and happy to help. Hold times on the phone depend on the day and time you call, like any other type of insurance/service provider. All in all, I'm very happy to continue with State Farm after years of amazing service.

I moved out of the US and needed to cancel a policy. I used their website's email functionality three times in the month before my move and never received a reply. I am now on call attempt #3 after having spent well over 20 minutes on hold the first two times to try to get this policy cancelled. Why even bother having this office if you're going to have it so severely understaffed?

They will drop you if you hurt their fragile egos questioning why it’s essential to paint cmu enclosure. Totally unprofessional and just… not reliable.

They do not exist in this building. They do not have an office here, or anywhere? If you think you can beat the 1 hour or more call back wait time by going in person, don't bother. Strongly considering a switch of insurance after this.

I’ve been a State Farm client for over 10 years in 4 states. Thankfully I’ve never had to deal with this office for a claim, but if I did I can’t imagine it would go well as they’re very difficult to get in touch with at this office. I’ve moved to another state and have to personally request cancellation of my policy in MA, but can’t get anyone on the phone. At this point for me it’s a small annoyance but definitely not the personal service I’ve received at all other State Farm offices I’ve used in other states. There must be better options in Mass with a reachable office.

Have always had State Farm and always had wonderful service in a few different states. This is the first time I've had a weird experience with State Farm where they don't have a real office in neither MA and RI. It helps to have a service center and the lady who helped was super professional, kind and helpful but yes the wait time is super long. It's not them, it's the system. Let's help them (and you) out by updating their resources, State Farm?

worst mistake coming from out of town was sticking to state farm here for auto insurance. glad i no longer have to deal with them but it would be great for others if they could answer emails politely (or at all) and not call us with an atrocious attitude just because we have been constantly emailing them (since they don't answer). save yourself the headache and go with another company.

I had called to pause a policy in August due to extensive car repairs needed, but when I called back to reinstate my policy, I was told the policy had been canceled for non-payment and not paused like I had been told it would be. Thankfully, Caitlyn was able to help get it reinstated and she was very helpful throughout the entire process. Overall I can say I’m fairly impressed with this office and the service they provide!

DO NOT TRANSFER YOUR POLICY FROM OUT OF STATE -i had to file a claim for a hit and run while my car was parked outside of my house. it’s now week 7 and they are still negotiating and paying the body shop. won’t waive my deductible because they don’t know who did it. will only give a rental for one month even though now i have to uber/car rental to work. absolute nightmare to deal with.also won’t let you pay in monthly installments or directly draft out of your bank - you have to pay 100% up front or every 3 months. overall, absolute trash and it’s clear that they are trying to drop customers and vacate the market.

Just....don't! I had the worse home insurance claim disaster with them. Literally rain and snow coming in through my roof, and they didn't send an agent to come access the damage, or provide any emergency funding. And just to top it off - even though I canceled my home insurance, they still managed to accidently charge me another whole year! I can't wait to finish my auto policy too, so I can finally be down with statefarm. 15 years of loyal service to state farm means nothing!Update - another month later and I still don’t have my home insurance refund. Is there a way to give negative stars for a review!? For your safety and sanity do not work with this office.

As others have stated, do not continue to use State Farm if you live in MA. Atrocious service. This local office won't answer the phone, will literally say "we are not currently taking calls, goodbye", this was on a Thursday at 10 am. The 800 number knows nothing about MA policies, you will never get a specific case worker for your claim. The operators are comically rude and I was told that if I didn't like it I could go to a different insurance company, been with them for 25 years this was my first major car accident.I was in a fender bender where the other guy gave me all his info and admitted fault, I uploaded all of this to their website and I still was told I had to pay a deductible and "maybe they would get it back from the other insurance", let alone finding my own rental car. After a week and a half of dealing with State Farm, I contacted the other person's (who hit me) insurance and within 2 days I was given a rental car confirmation number, and an appointment with an auto body mechanic, all paid for by the insurance, I almost cried with how friendly they were and I will be buying their insurance (Farmers) as soon as my State Farm runs out. It's also important to note that there are no auto body mechanics in network for State Farm in MA, so you will have to do all the arranging and rental yourself, unless you want to get it done out of state. State Farm actively does not want you as a customer if you live in MA and give you no resources for you to use. Leave them immediately.
