Never a smile when you drive up or walk in. Nobody seems happy to be working at the location. I have been a member for over 6 years and never once been referred to by first name & given a larger interest rate than any other bank around. I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anybody. One last con… you cannot link your card to cash app.

Absolute worst bank you could ever open. I lasted less than a month because they don’t know their own policies. They held a payroll deposit when they weren’t supposed to because IT’S PAYROLL all because no one communicates from the front end to the back end. I closed out my account that very day, had a refund sent back (that I obviously didn’t know was going to be refunded) and instead of SCU declining the refund because there’s NO account to place it in and rerouting it back to the company, they kept it, and “don’t know where it is.”If you want a bank that’s amazing and knows their stuff, do yourself a favor and walk across the street and sign up at Savers Bank. They hold checks from new customers for THREE days, and they won’t continuously try to sign you up for features you don’t need.

I applied for an auto loan a few weeks ago, my pay stub was required to get my rate. After 3 days my application had not been decisioned and I still had not received my interest rate. During these 3 days I received no communication. I had to email and call to figure out what was going on. St Mary’s had given me a rate the day after I applied without needing my pay stub, and had my application decisioned not long after that.

I wanted $1000 loan to help build my credit, I have a high credit score, I'm in the 12% of the top score. But I wanted to help improve it by getting this loan and paying it off immediately. They denied my loan even though my credit score is more than above the low range. They are awful, don't do any business with this credit union, they don't put their trust into me so I won't put my trust into them.

I have had nothing but problems at this bank. avoid at all costs. i’d rather stuff my money under my mattress than deal with these people.

I grew up and this was my first bank, in terms of service they offer everything, but at every chance they will block you out of your account, put fraud holds on small transactions under 100$, and be a nuisance at every chance, If you can get a USAA account instead I highly recommend that, and I’m a 20 year customer at SCU.

Cards break very easily and have to pay $15 to get it replaced. i payed to have my 4th card in less than a year replaced and not even a week later, the chip in the card doesn’t work at all. Not to mention my card gets locked whenever i try to buy anything online and when i asked about this they told me there’s nothing i could do. cant even use paypal. this place is a scam

They have no interest on savings account and won't refund any fees unless you meet their transaction requirements. Not the worst bank I've had but definitely some stupid guidelines for refunding fees. When I signed up all fees were refunded without any requirements, but not anymore.

Horrible experience here and it keeps getting worse! Take your business elsewhere!! I had 5k in my account and was denied a 1,000 loan to build credit. Then, I was charged multiple times for one payment that was declined and they rudely refused to fix it and made me pay for it! I believe they charged me 120$ for something that should have been 30$ and told me “too bad you can take your banking elsewhere”. No thanks!!! ? Bye bye
