I find advertised special bogo deceiving. Tags in front of different products like chicken. You have to read everything before buying. Bought deli meat, date good, already turned bad in pkg, mold on breads, I will not be returning. Wish I could have included pictures.

I like Price Chopper but for me whether shopping in store or on line many items are unavailable regularly. This has been an issue for me for some time now. This doesn't make me a happy shopper of Price Chopper. I think there might be an inventory adjustment needed.

Switched out the gum ball machines for horrible overpriced toys. Bring back the gum ball machine. You had a little girl buying them everyday and her heart is broken

The store is clean, and I enjoy their store fried haddock and cod.
The store made meals are delicious too, especially the raviolis.
I wanted to add, I tried the store made veggie lo mein and egg roll ready meal. Delicious!
I will include the cashiers, people in the store have consistently been polite and helpful!

I went to the Spencer location Friday night at 10 past 9 and they had shut easy scan early so Barbara and Michelle were doing the best they could to keep up, but they should not have to put with customers being nasty and impatient because hours were cut

I'm from Maine and whenever I come to visit my family in the area I'm always happy to shop at this particular store because of the great selection options and Very friendly customer service from the cashiers and other front staff!!

Other than Dog Food, I’m pretty much done with Price Chopper in Spencer. Every single time I go, I can never find all the items on my list because they are out that item(s)
I then have to finish my shopping at another store. Vegs/fruit are often spoiled. Meats, have been spoiled/rancid when I get them home. No quality assurance and often only 1 Register is open. Who only has 1 register open on a Friday afternoon? Don’t waste your time at Price Chopper!

I want to let people know that I decided to take advantage of the grocery pickup service from Price Chopper in Spencer. When the items were put into my car, I asked if that was definitely everything and was told it was. I got home to find an item was missing and called the store for a refund. It was told my the manager I had to return to the store to either get the item or get a refund. If i wanted to go into the store, i would have done my own shopping. My other option was to get a refund through Instacart (I don't have an account with them and didn't order through them).
I have been using Hannaford's service for over a year and they are the friendliest most helpful you could hope for.
I recommend that you DON'T use this service at Price Chopper.

This store is frequently selling expired or moldy product. I only shop here now when I'm in a rush and need a last minute item. My girlfriend bought me a pack of Ming Bings 8/16/24 and I baked one for lunch 8/17/24. I noticed after my second bite that the taste was really really off. Concerned I checked the box only to see that they EXPIRED JANUARY 4TH 2024. As a shopper the responsibility should NOT be put on our shoulders to check the expiration date of every product we add to our carts. The Spencer store location has consistently showed through a pattern of repeated behavior that it does NOT care about the health or safety of the residents of Spencer.

My boyfriend and I just went to price chopper and went to the deli my boyfriend nicely asked the guy working at the deli how is day was going and there was no response so my boyfriend reiterated his question and he just stood there and stared at him with a cold dead look in his eye and said what can I get you then he got what we asked for and the weight was a little over what we asked for and he didn’t ask if it was ok he just printed the sticker and gave it to us. We were very put off by this. Also we go to produce to get tomatoes and they were moldy. it was very uncomfortable and uncalled for. Apparently you can’t ask people how their day is anymore. ?? We had to leave and go to another store because it was so bad

Lots of expired or poorly rotated food in produce, ABHORRENT PRICES, trying to get people to buy their cheaper PICS brand food, if you check the labels on many of these pics products they are cheaply made and chock full of chemicals....silicon dioxide in pasta??? Tf?? Yeah just skip it and shop elsewhere..people are courteous here though
