I recently rented a car with Budget and was shocked to find two additional charges on my credit card after returning the vehicle. Budget acknowledged only one of the charges and claimed they did not recognize the other, even though I received an official e-receipt from them for that exact amount.
Instead of taking accountability, they stalled and placed the burden on me to prove their own billing activity. This was a fraudulent charge and their business practices are unethical. I eventually got back my money. But customers need to beware before renting with them. What happened to me shows that they can bill you incorrectly, deny responsibility and then leave you to fight for your own refund.

I’ve never had worse customer service in my life. This guy was so unhelpful and didn’t tell us anything until after he put our card through. Couldn’t get an answer out of him with any questions we had. Useless!

Had family in from out of town looking to rent a car, made their reservation in advance & received confirmation. Showed up today for rental and was told be Cesar that “I have no car for you, it was due back at 1030 but it’s not here and I don’t know when it’ll get here.” Seems like poor practice to take a reservation if you’re not going to have a car to fulfill it. Save your money and time, avoid here and just go to Budget at Bradley Airport instead.

Owner runs a big little operation with a small crew so you gotta bare with them a little at busy booking times but they get great vehicles and fair rates!

Hello Paul, I comprehend your role as the franchise owner here, but it doesn't justify communicating with customers in a condescending and indifferent manner. Your approach during my visit was unpleasant, with a refusal to answer simple questions and an almost combative attitude. If I hadn't been pressed for time, I might have opted for the enterprise down the street. It's advisable to enhance your customer service skills, as this doesn't appear to be the first instance of it being brought to attention.

And they did it again! I posted the below review prior to my last rental. This time I had the dates wrong on my reservation and I was taken care of without event. They had an SUV ready for me within 20 minutes and I was on my way. GREAT customer service and care. All Budget Car Rental locations should be so effcient.(PREVIOUS REVIEW)I have used this Budget on 2 occasions and have been super pleased each time. The service and vehicle condition were great. My third time is approaching Friday. Happy returning customer.

Rented a car for one day full size SUV came up to one $180 a day return the car the second day and the guy who works there he’s trying to charge me $300 detail fee. He’s the manager there he’s the only one working there. he’s a scammer. total came up to $450 okay whatever time pass. Went on my bank account. and I see that they’re charging me $350 for no reason I haven’t been there after the last time called customer service. They said we don’t know anything about the last transaction. oh, so watch out from this guy he’s a scammer. and also the company is a scam too.!

Fantastic service. Front desk employee was very nice. Car was new and in great condition. Prices were fair. Definitely recommend!

Dorsnt accept debit cards . But doesnt disclose that information when booking . Smh. And doesnt give any suggestions for help either.
