I just went to pick up some groceries for the week with my roomate. The cashier, Theresa was super helpful when figuring out my CVS coupons and account. I would 10/10 recommend going to this CVS. Everything was organized and labeled correctly!

I went to go pick up one thing and ended up with two full bags of groceries. The wonderful woman at the register, Theresa was the reason for this. She was extremely helpful and kind. I usually avoid this CVS but she is the reason I will be back more often!

I started learning about couponing and CVS was my go-to store. The in-store products are most of the time on sale and combined with coupons you get a great deal. I’ve got so much stuff from CVS and sometimes even freebies. I saved so much since I started buying most of my stuff there. Definitely will recommend this store for anyone looking to get so much stuff for a reasonable price.

CvS is very close to my new home, (walking distance) and just like my old one, the staff at this one is very nice and efficient. Unfortunately a lot of things are locked. So it does make visits last longer having to wait for staff to become available to retrieve what you need. But other than that. I love this CVS.

New review about the actual store front instead of the pharmacy. Corporate needs to buy this store a new money order machine because this places money order machine is down almost as often as McDonald's ice cream machine is broken or getting cleaned. 😅
Also, either the security guard or cashier has to be your personal shopper here. I understand it's because people were robbing this store blind (legit watched it happening one day, it was bad) but it's made coming to this CVS for anything other than scripts or a Hallmark card a task. I wouldn't reccomend getting a lot when visiting this cvs. They're better off hiring someone to be a bouncer that locks and unlocks the door for customers when they enter and leave.
Front store clerks have always been fabulous as well as the security guard. :)

600 State St CVS has lost it's marbles. Don't waste your time going to 600 State St CVS if you have more than one item to buy. They refuse to hire armed security and instead you now need a personal shopper each time you go in the store. Not even joking, the ONE cashier has to leave their post to go around the store with a customer to unlock each individual item one by one, isle by isle. Unless it's just a Hallmark card I'm buying, I go anywhere else, management has made the descion to make shopping their too much of a hassle. It is especially bad for folks with anxiety and agoraphobia. Stop being cheap 🥴
I have A LOT to say about their pharmacies new voicemail tactic as well, in combination with the poorly developed phone APP that is in a constant state of broken, CVS wants people to jump through hoops of fire to get their scripts filled or speak with an actual human being, as well as grab a roll of toliet paper, a bottle of tums, laundry detergent, some paper plates, and a 20 ounce water. (ThaT took 25 mins to shop between key fiddling and door opening betwee. 4 or 5 different isles. Also the only person working so there was a line of people waiting on their personal shopper.

Theresa is the reason I continue to prefer this store- state street in Springfield- she always goes above and beyond to provide great customer service, regardless of how stressful it may be, for over 15 years.

People are quick to complain, but not fast enough to compliment. Yesterday I went to this CVS to pick up my meds as usual, and typically it is a slightly above average experience, one of the cashiers at the pharmacy declined service to a customer stating that she was done for the day, however, needed a manager to help her clock out, for nothing because 2 seconds later, she returned with the manager and was being reprimanded. That's when JAYSON stepped in. This person is utterly efficient, respectful, and extremely professional. I'd like to commend JAYSON for his exceptional service as an example to his peers.
Thank you!

It is one of the worst stores in the area due to 2 main issues1. What is not their fault:Theft, Vagrants asking for money2. What they should improve:The attitude of the employees leaves a lot to be desired, on several occasions I have had very bad experiences with this place.
