The stars given were for the employees I dealt with and the AI reservation process.
Overall I was disappointed. I reserved a compact vehicle not for the price, but to get a compact vehicle. When I picked up the reservation I was told about my free upgrade which put me into a Nissan Altima. I was not thrilled about the upgrade but I had to work with it since I wasn't offered an alternative. After driving it I was far less than impressed. For a car with 45,000 mi on it it should drive much better than it does. There was a weird smell. The blue film on the inside of the windows and the fingerprints let me know that the inside of the windows had not been washed and some time. The outside was just a little dirty. It was vacuumed.
Considering I had to change my trip because I no longer had a compact car to park and navigate the city, I also couldn't take it out doordashing to help recoup some of the money.
Definitely NOT worth the $116. Hertz was $86. I went with Enterprise because they had the better rating and this was an important trip.
Aaron at this location has superb customer service skills. The girls who checked me in and out were average. I explained my dissatisfaction and did get a less than enthusiastic "I'm sorry it didn't meet your expectations" and then rattled off the script of the deposit refund.
So I will not be renting again. I'll throw a friend $50 and use my roadside assistance if necessary if I can't take my own car!

The Enterprise location in West Springfield (874 Memorial Ave), which is still technically being coded as DOWNTOWN Springfield location, has an exceptionally rude employee there named Jackie who accused me of putting ashes in the car. After I told her I did not smoke, she responded with sarcasm and doubt, and reiterated her accusation. Had Jackie been qualified to be a chemist, she certainly would not be taking reservations at Enterprise. I imagine Jackie has had a very rough go of it for some time here and until this location develops a customer friendly staff, I won’t be back. There was also a male colleague who shared the same toxic customer service traits as she did. The rot is all throughout that place.

They confirm your reservation then don’t have cars. They then try to gaslight you into believing it’s your fault they took 24 reservations for 3 cars. (Those are the exact numbers they gave me.)

Limited choice of vehicles to pick from. The vehicle I got had a cracked windshield. Service was bad.

Unbelievable,
My insurance company set me up with Enterprise after my car accident. The experience I received at East Columbus Ave in Springfield Massachusetts, let's say it was a lot less than what I expected. I called the company complain line and submitted a review on Google.
Now My phone # and information is being thrown around. Mike called Chris Pelletier located at 411
CT. Blvd East Hartford CT. And shared my information without my knowledge or concent.
Can someone please reach out to resolve this sensitive issue.

Worst customer service ever came from out of state with a car reservation for 6pm and got there at 559 and she wouldn’t allow me to pick up the car

Car smell like cigarettes.. and found out it was the manager smoking in the car from the rental before giving it to me. And then I tried telling him and he said that he doesn't smell nothing. But the dumb left evidence his lighter in middle console lol. He gave me a rude answer and customer service. He didn't care that I had kids in car smelling his cigarettes smells. His answer was come tomorrow and I change it for a smaller car. I rather went and bought a smell refreshing bomb for car.

Three weeks before my trip I made a reservation for a minivan. Two day before my trip, I was contacted stating that they do not have a minivan available for me and that I have to take a SUV. I couldn’t understand whats the meaning of reservation a vehicle if you cant reserve the vehicle you want.I had no choice but to take the vehicle that they gave me. My trip required me to have a minivan i had to make a lot of rearrangement which kind of ruined my trip.

Literal best location this is the fastest i was in and out no issues beautiful well groomed vehicle folks there are helpful and respectful there is one lady i forgot her name but she is amazing she knows who she is I’m from Manchester Ct and il come that way again just for the great service

Downtown Springfield, MA store location is the BEST!!! I have been getting cars here for the pass 3 months and never had a issue or concern. The customer service from Alex, Tom and professionalism is great!! Very accommodating to your expectations and need of a vehicle. If u ever want to rent a car in Mass go to this location. Keep up the good job!!
