Edit: The store has gotten cleaner again but still many opened and out-of-date products. I also have to say I like the night manager many seem to dislike. It seems he's trying to keep the store safe from riffraff. I'm sure some get mixed up in it that aren't up to no good.
Use to be a great store. Had amazing employees, especially one young man who was always so positive and greeted you when you walked in. Well, now he's gone, and the newer people have no customer service skills. They don't even acknowledge you when ringing you out. Maybe it is that very little English is spoken. Women are too busy hanging out and dancing than doing their jobs. Over the past year, this store has gotten worse. It's kinda slumy now. I hope they see what's happening and make some serious changes. There is no other ethnicity other than Spanish working there. That seems odd. The store is dirty, and the refrigerators smell like bug poison. There are opened and bashed-up packages all over the store. Family Dollar needs to look at this store's most recent reviews. It's horrible. They need some better employees. But that's hard to find nowadays.

was discriminated against and told to leave the store with my service dog. It is a Federal Offense to do that. The manager that was there Sunday, 21 April at approximately 8:30 PM had viciously attacked me verbally while on the phone with his supervisor threatening me to call the cops. I told him go ahead and call the cops. I showed him my dogs medical service dog card as well as her registration papers, even though by law, I am not required to, also not required to put a service dog vest on her as I am waiting for her vest in the mail. Everything that was done to me yesterday is a federal offense, distracting the service dog from their owner, distracting an owner from the service dog, threatening to call the cops on somebody because they are in your store with a service dog, asking to see proof that that is a service dog and asking to leave the store because of your service dog. Also, the manager, he removed his name tag and refused to give me his name. Also, my dog was discriminated against because of her breed. The whole time a manager himself was talking to his supervisor a female on the phone who advised him to call the cops. I waited about half an hour no police showed.

This is the most clean and organized family dollar you can find always stuck up and immaculate I don’t mind driving 20 min to come to this store.

As an employee of this store, I would avoid it. Food items are outdated, the night manager doesn't know how to do his job. Treats everyone with no respect. Worst environment ever.

Seems like managers just make the new workers do everything. And they just hide out back and talk or pretend to be busy. Definitely needs a change in management.
New workers are actually pretty friendly and helpful.

Every week I like to window shop with my daughters to plan ahead. I've been going to this store for a couple of years now and I've always had a very nice experience, but lately, I've noticed a new night time manager that gives me a hard time, every time I window shop. On this particular day, the last day of last month, I was with my daughter and my fiance. We rode our bikes and left them outside. It was about an hour before closing time. My fiance kept going out to check on the bikes. The manager asked my fiance if everything was OK. My fiance replied "yes". It seemed to bother the manager that my fiance kept going back to check the bikes. We simply came to buy dish soap and a 2 liter soda and to window shop and get an idea so that I could come back the next morning to shop because I was getting my check the next day. But the manager came over and decided to start an argument with my fiance. He mentioned that he just became a manager and now he can say something. He said he doesn't like that we come in the store to window shop for 3 hrs. We walked in around 9pm and he started arguing with us by 9:20pm yet he says that we've been there for 3 hrs. He also said that we don't have money and even accused us of stealing and said that he was going to check the cameras. He said hes going to put our pictures up to ban us from the store for stealing. My fiance told him to check the cameras that he would see that we didn't steal anything. The manager never went back to check the cameras. Instead he decided to argue with us. he was even waving his arms back and forth like as if he wanted to fight. He continued to argue until eventually I decided not to purchase anything and just leave. It was extremely embarrassing and unnecessary. He should be fired!!!!!!

First I want to say I am a big fan of the family dollar stores, but I have to rate this store just one star because of the new night time manager. I went to this store last week with my daughter to get a couple jars of nivia face creme. The price on the shelf read $5.99 each, but when the new night manager scanned it at the register, they scanned as $10.99 each plus tax. I tried to explain this to the him, but he was very rude. He said " well that's the price, what? You wanna fight about it?" I basically just brushed it off and said I would come back tomorrow to get it, because I didn't have enough at the moment. I did just that. The next morning I came back and spoke with the hiring manager. She was very friendly and helpful. She immediately moved the creme to the correct shelf and I happily made my purchase and went on my way. I just wanted to express the differences, because the new night time manager is very rude makes my shopping experience extremely unpleasant.

They need better people running this store. Today I went in waiting at the register to cash out. Mind you both workers are outside smoking ? a cigarette. New worker counting money. Couldn't stop It's so bad they could not wait to smoke.
