Lyndale Garage charged me only $50 to replace my fog light bulbs, while another shop quoted me over $240 for the exact same job. I called Lyndale to make an appointment and they told me to come in the same day. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I’m really impressed with their service — the employees are friendly, honest, and really know their stuff. These guys are real mechanics! I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever need work done again.

Awful body work on my vehicle there's paint transfer from another vehicle there's hair in the clear coat there's runs you can tell they didn't finish part of one of the scratches in the door rear quarter panel still had a big huge dent in it rear bumper wasn't painted correctly they're still paint missing where the plate would have been overall completely dissatisfied with job when I showed up to pick up my vehicle and had not been washed it was not buffed,put pin strip on passenger side black when the driver side is navy blue still horrible work in bumper and fender.

Visited on 11/3/2025 for State Inspection sticker - low tire pressure idiot light was on, not an inspectable item, however, the technician took the time to add air and properly inflate all four tires without being asked. Appreciated the extra service as you don't see it very often these days.

They said there was things wrong with my vechice and I wend and got a second opinion and those thing that Lyndale Garage told me what was wrong with my vechicle was infact NOT the case at all! They gave me a quote that was outrageous! I am so glad I didn’t go with them!!

If I could give by no stars I would. My son is there at Springfield College and needed to purchase a tire. They wouldn’t sell him a tire because his Tint on his car was too dark. Excuse me. I thought that is the police and highway patrols job. Sounds like some real discriminatory practices to me. Just say you don’t service Black people. I’d feel better.

Did a good job on my brakes and safety check. Reasonable prices. I did have to wait an extra day for the car, but I still recommend them.

Did not want to fix my car 03 Cadillac DeVille told me my car was not worth nothing but it does to me told me they can't replace the motor because it cost too much and my car was not worth it when I had the money to have the motor replaced I feel they didn't wanna fix my car because I'm Latino

Went to get a simple inspection and was told the absolute most ridiculous stories I've ever heard about lift laws, mind you my truck is minimally lifted. I stated that my truck met the legal requirements(2” lift) showed the employee the laws and he proceeded to tell me that Mack truck in springfield had a higher jurisdiction than the state laws, mind you my truck had been previously inspected at this establishment with the lift.

I have been using Lyndale as my primary garage for repairs for years. They are always professional, transparent, and reasonably priced in today's world.

I had a terrible experience at Lyndale Garage. I brought my car in to have the radiator fixed. About an hour into my cross country move, my car overheated and started smoking on the highway. After a 5 hour delay, I was made aware my thermostat gauge had broken.
When I contacted Lyndale, they agreed to reimburse me for the repair as the mechanic who ended up fixing the thermostat gauge confirmed that the issue was directly related to the work done on my radiator—they weren’t careful.
I followed up 1-2 times a week for 3 months. Don't agree to pay for something and then stop responding.
I wouldn’t trust them with my car again. Also - radiator is still hissing. Not worth the stress or lack of accountability.
